And that's absolutely cool that you disagree. I happen to firmly believe that if *I* am buying something marketed as a "performance car" then it should be priced as such. There will always be wiggle room in how a company prices it's product, but the DH does not fit the bill of a 70k performance...
I can afford a DH just fine, but I'm not a fan of flushing money down the toilet. This car is not worth what it is sticker priced at when there are other cars out there that can out perform it. It's not personal. The car is a product, nothing more, nothing less. The value of that product is...
I have absolutely no problem at all with someone who thinks the DH is worth what it is priced at. I simply disagree. Ford is marketing the DH as a *performance* car, and I'm saying more performance can be found elsewhere. Cheaper.
I've owned every version of Mustang that's been produced (yes, that includes the Mustang II). This is the first version *ever* that I think they fucked up on by pricing it beyond what a Mustang was meant to be.
Spin it however the f*ck you need to spin it, dude.
The better performing car is cheaper.
And that's just the base model Stingray. For under 80k you can get an absolute beast of a performance car nicely optioned. The Stingray "piece for piece" is always going to skyrocket a cost of a 650, but...
Lmao...
68K = Not bad
No Mustang outside of a Shelby should be that high. A base stingray ( which will outperform a Darkhorse ) can be had for 4k cheaper.
The blindness toward the 650 is laughable.
Absolutely agree. Sometimes it's tough to read through the butthurt crowd. But, it's the day and age of everything offending everybody if they don't agree. Nobody is allowed a difference of opinion. Sorry, I'm old school. If my opinion hurts the butthurt, too f*ing bad. You'll survive, cupcake...
I'm sorry, and I truly do hope it sells well, but that car is ugly.
Real ugly. It's not the color, it's an ugly front and diapered back end.
Just my opinion.
It's just a more aggressive take on what's currently on the Mach E.
I think Ford went the wrong way. Mach borrowing from the Mustang is fine. Mustang borrowing from the Mach is horrid.
Just my take.
Certainly it could be argued. But the Mustang has been around 50 years and with the EV push, it should have no issues in it's exact segment as a full EV vehicle.
Context = SUV + Design elements = Mustang
Gullible = SUV + Design elements = Mustang because Ford said so.
Some Mustang fans (myself included) = Mustangs are not SUV's regardless what Ford says.
Nobody is disagreeing that the Mach-e Mustang exists. Folks like me disagree that the Mustang name...
Nice back pedal. Not gonna work though...
Nice back pedal. You were trying to be smart and ended up shooting yourself in the foot. There was nothing sarcastic about it. Woke has nothing to do with what you have stated above. Nice try in removing your foot though.
The only one being vocal is...
It's absolutely amazing how people react these days. You answered a question, and you're immediately attacked. What's even more comical is the usage of "woke" in that reply. Woke would actually be more akin to calling an SUV a Mustang because marketing identifies it as one. :-)
I've tried. He just won't let it go that he will never convince me that the Mach-E is a Mustang. I actually feel sorry for the dude. He's like a male Karen.
Anyway, sorry to clog up the thread. I'm done with it.
