  1. Got denied for a GTD. What's the next regular high performance Mustang coming down the pike?

It’s funny, I was thinking about posting something along these lines then just saw your post. You’ve saved me the trouble; no way I could have said it any better. The internet seems to be full of ā€œpiling onā€ hate, and I think often from people who don’t even have first-hand experience with the...
  2. Would Bilsteins make a noticeable difference on my new GT?

Thank you, probably excellent advice. I have others when I want to get rowdy. Like most old hot rodders just looking for something for nothing, or very little.
  3. Would Bilsteins make a noticeable difference on my new GT?

Would a strut tower brace help any? My ā€˜20 GT vert has one and it handles pretty well.
  4. Would Bilsteins make a noticeable difference on my new GT?

Thanks for the warning. This car has a nice enough ride that I wouldn’t want to destroy it. I can live with the handling no problem. Itā€˜s pretty good as is, I was just thinking. BTW sounds like our new GTs are close to clones:
  5. Would Bilsteins make a noticeable difference on my new GT?

I’m talking B6s, both struts and shocks. My ā€˜24 GT is a stock non-PP, non-Magneride car. It does have the 19x8.5 wheels with 255s all around. It rides great and handles nicely but could maybe be just a little flatter/tighter when pushed hard in a turn. Other than rebound damping just...
  6. Carbon Filter RWHP?

Umm, well, probably because in this particular case it actually was just about the numbers.
  7. Carbon Filter RWHP?

Maybe, maybe not but that isn’t the point and never was. The point is it’s real, it’s measurable and it’s free. That kind of thing drives an awful lot of forum conversation, most of which isn’t quantifiable like this is. Guys often spend a lot more than zero for less.
  8. Racing Stripes or Wrap!

If I were gonna do it that’s exactly what I would have done. Looks great!
  9. Lucky for me

Mine came with the Conti 255/40-R19s. The bronze pkg wheels are 19x8.5 so 255s are the biggest they’ll hold. I’d rate them as OK, nothing too special. I actually prefer the same size P Zero Neros on my 2020 GT vert with the black package. Same size wheels and tires. I know I’m the only guy here...
  10. Lucky for me

Sounds like we’re similar. I’m on my 75th trip. My ā€˜24 GT also is 401A, AE, Bronze and Brembos. It’s not a race car but I’d describe it as a really competent fast cruiser. I don’t track it but I push pretty hard on mountain roads and it never disappoints. What color is yours?
  11. More and More 650s

I’ve only seen a couple other than mine. The difference isn’t that noticeable going down the road.
  12. Put it in Drag Strip mode for the first time

Yes. I have the Continental Pro Contacts. They seem OK, nothing special. But this car only has around 500 miles so far so I havenā€˜t really wrung ā€˜em out yet either.
  13. Put it in Drag Strip mode for the first time

Thank you. That would explain why I only have 255-40/19s on my 19x8.5 bronze package wheels.
  14. Put it in Drag Strip mode for the first time

What package or option does your car have that gives you 265s?
  15. GT 2024 - after 5 months still driving heavy and slow

Mine never runs in anything except track mode and it feels fast AF. Because it is. Iā€˜m adding up 2+2 here and i keep getting 3.
  16. New Limited Edition Mustang GT Coming? More info on 8/16

Four Gs seems extreme for a little lipstick but people seem to dig this kind of thing. There are other unnamed recent Mustangs that I personally see as pretty much a tart-up and folks love ā€˜em so obviously it’s just one cynical OF’s opinion. Now if this LE included some mechanical or...
  17. Bronze Pkg Wheels

OK. I am going to give you the 100% best answer you’ll ever get online. Based on my previous experience here and elsewhere telling people how great this stuff is you’re gonna ignore it. But here goes anyway: Get this product only. Nothing else. Not their wheel cleaner. Just this, period. Spray...
  18. Carbon Filter RWHP?

I don’t think I’d dispute that at all, but that wasn’t how the OP put his question forth. He was asking about actual RWHP, which is normally measured on a dyno. Therefore my response. As far as real world results are concerned I currently own a 2020 A10 460 hp/3.15s, a 2023 A10 470 hp/3.55s...
  19. Carbon Filter RWHP?

You need to slow down and actually watch the video I posted. That is *EXACTLY* what Tony did. Baseline dyno run with the CT, removed the CT and did another dyno run. Same day, same ā€˜22 Mach with and without the CT. Not sure how you missed this if you watched the video.
