  1. New Battery

There is a built in timer regardless of the SOC that will disconnect remote services, i think it's two weeks of no vehicle entry though. But as others have said it's under warranty anything that a new battery will fix is Fords problem. Everything else is an operating issue. They will do a SOH...
  2. 576 horsepower to the wheels, naturally aspirated?

Still wildly inconsistent between runs, unless they decided reving a coyote beyond 8k was a bad idea. Would be interesting to see the valve closing velocity on a GT vs DH vs that modified cam. Seems to me like ford were cam'd the DH to rev higher than a GT but ran into issues late in the game...
  3. 576 horsepower to the wheels, naturally aspirated?

The question was more how did they rev it that high when the factory hard cut is 7.5k and soft cut 7.25k Smells like they're fiddling with the dyno ratio if they're using implied crank speed from wheel speed.
  4. I have a question about the GT tune?

DH has different camshafts to rev a little higher. They could of made more power if they upped the redline.
  5. 576 horsepower to the wheels, naturally aspirated?

Reving beyond 8k ? that seems a little to high. Adding the cobra jet added 500rpm to the fuel cut ?
  6. Best air filter for the Mustang?

Is that not what the cabin air filter is for ... probably worth a check at least
  7. S650 Autostart start n stop how to disable this system for good

They've already said several times that doesn't work as turning it off puts a light on the switch. No light no turning off. Good to see the world is still going backwards
  8. Ford secure ending

Yup same was dated 25th. Recall was performed on the 24th, Dealer have confirmed they submitted the paperwork to Ford on the 24th. But Ford can take upto a month to process this as it's not digital / automated as such. Just made me laugh really.
  9. Ford secure ending

In something you really cant make up... I got a letter today from Ford, about an urgent recall on my car that i must contact my dealer ... Letter dated ONE day after my dealer had performed the recall. Can only imagine someone ticked the wrong box somewhere!
  10. Lane keeping assist - A cautionary tale

A few points / comments from the OP. This thread is posted in the UK section, whilst everyone is of course welcome the primary audience for the information is UK owners as it's most relevant to them. - The observation started with an automatic focus (so it has lane centring assist, which my...
  11. Lane keeping assist - A cautionary tale

I'm not sure if the following is a result of a recent software update, a change in the road / conditions or the fact I usually turn lka off as part of the start up routine. However everyone should be aware of the following and turn lka off when not driving on motorways or dual carriageway...
  12. Ford secure ending

I think they measured the wrong calliper, printed report is quite different to digital report. Recall went ok seems it's more preventative these days than just a straight up inspection. Ford estimated it would take them 1 hour (the inspection part) the full job took them just over 3 hours...
  13. Ford secure ending

Yup it was in for service as well. I've had a notification to say it's ready to pick up. Will report back later if they had to do anything.
  14. Ford secure ending

My car is in for the recall at present, didn't inspire me with confidence when I asked how many they had done so far. Answer was 1 (same one from when I booked a month ago) and that it was still there but for another issue. They have picked up that my rear pads are down to 6mm. Not sure what...
  15. Pirelli tyres

From my experience last winter in the UK (something has gone really wrong if it gets down to -7c here) the pirreli's need a bit of heat in them to grip properly. Stop/start traffic and 20mph zones are enough to lose temperature that if you give it the beans again too quickly the rear will snap /...
  16. Ford secure ending

Sounds like your dealer hasn't done one yet ... I do need to check in with mine to see how they got on with the first one they started last Friday. Mine is booked in for an 8:30 in the morning start, it's only listed as checking to see if it needs the fix rather than applying it.
  17. Ford secure ending

There was hope that RHD cars weren't effected by the recall but nope we've got it. It seems that Ford UK only send out recalls when they have the fix ready to apply. It's been known on this forum for months but only in the last few weeks has the reworks been started. Bit odd that we have to pay...
  18. Ford secure ending

It was a paid for vehicle tracking thing. If you reported the car stolen, ford would tell the police where the car was last seen. Might of been able to remotely disable the car as well. You could geofence the car so if it went out of area they'd call you.
  19. Ford secure ending

Recall is for builds up to July 14th 2025. My dealer started their first recall work on Friday shall see how it went, I'm booked in but it's a month's wait due to shortage of loaner cars. You say ford are bad ... Mercedes are worse. Took an 8 year old car in for it's service and was told only...
  20. Ford secure ending

My free trial came to an end and I didn't extend it. Good thing I didn't if they're shutting it down 3 months later?? Just checked the app tho and seems that I have the BCM recall. Nice to have been notified about it and not hidden deep within an app. Oh wait
