If this is to be believed, there is no replacing of any hardware. Its a software issue which should mean much faster resolution.
Software fix required also confirmed by Ford Authority...
Well this is just ironic. After about a 3 year wait, my dark horse was expected to arrive at the dealership next week. Plugged the vin into Ford's tool and mine is affected. Just spoke to the dealer and while this is still new to them and they didn't have that much information, they suggested it...
I forgot to mention, but hopefully it's helpful for future customers tracking their cars...
I used https://shipinfo.net/ for tracking as per 5.0ALM's guide and it does work well. I have also found that https://www.vesselfinder.com/ seem to update position more frequently and for the last number...
Yep, docked last night around midnight. I got a call from my dealership on Friday saying I should have the car in 2 weeks, maybe sooner. Fingers crossed.
Some fresh images from this morning:
This might be the reason the Tysla is just chilling in the bay for the last day or so. Looks like the decks need to be cleared before they can offload more cars.
(Sittin’ On) The Dock of the Bay
[Verse 1]
Sittin' in the mornin' sun
I'll be sittin' when the evenin' come
Watching the ships roll in
And then I watch 'em roll away again, yeah
[Chorus]

Watching the tide roll away
Ooh, I'm just sittin' on the dock of the...
I've never actually used Colourlock products but I've heard quite a bit about them. The DH has a lot of Alcantara and so I probably wont use much of it, but thought it might be worth having for some of the other areas. I just noticed this though:
Looks like they dont recommend using it on...
This made my day mate. I cant tell you how long I've looked forward to reading your thoughts on the whole experience once you take delivery. Well deserved!
Like you say, its important to tell people when they do a good job... so let me thank you on behalf of this Aussie Mustang community for...
I went through the same phase of really wanting to do spacers to get the nice stance. After seeing the issues with cutting the studs I abandoned that thought. It did sound to me like on the S650 the 25mm/1 inch spacers fit without needing to cut the studs, but that might be more of a poke than...
Yeah I have the same concerns. A friend of mine who runs spacers on his S550 had a tyre shop refuse to replace his tyres. Told him to remove the spacers and come back. They're not allowed to touch the car or they become liable. Probably not all shops will be that way, but it can be a pain in the...
Just be careful and do your research. With the S550's, the studs were different between the Magneride cars and the standard cars. I think you had to use at least a 1 inch spacer if you wanted to avoid cutting the studs.
Also spacers are illegal in Australia. I know many people that use them...
