  1. 2024 S650 Mustang V8 to Approach 500 Horsepower

The Gen 4 Coyote has been in development since at least 2020, so you are probably right about the 2024 having the Gen 4. This may've been responsible for the the 1 year delay of the S650 too.
  2. 2023 Car Ads Have Started Shooting

If it is the same company, I worked with them about 10 years ago in the We own Work campaign. They spent a day at my location filming a video for their website with my tow trucks, And later used some of that footage in TV commercials. They flew a bunch of us out to Cali for a BBQ with Mike Rowe...
  3. chazcron weighs in... 7th gen 2023 Mustang S650 3D model & renderings in several colors!

From what I've seen, the tail light panel is more flush than the current cars. Forget where I saw that though.
  4. chazcron weighs in... 7th gen 2023 Mustang S650 3D model & renderings in several colors!

This front end to me is a step in the wrong direction. Hopefully the sides and rear are better.
  5. What will it take to save the V8 Mustang?

I think it's clumsy and devalues the Mustang name.
  6. chazcron weighs in... 7th gen 2023 Mustang S650 3D model & renderings in several colors!

I hope if this is a 24 Mustang, it's like a sedan only version. (or EU version, since it has the ugly EU mirrors on it) As much as I'd hate to see a Mustang Sedan, I'd hate this to be the actual coupe front end even more.
  7. 6/1/22 unveil for S650 Mustang or something else?

It's the last V8 powered Ford car. A tradition and instant hit since 1932. They should keep a V8 Mustang at least 10 more years, Then they can go out with a V8 100TH anniversary model. My first 6 cars bought were all big block V8's. When V8 cars cease to exist, I won't buy another new car.
  8. Hood angle similar to the 1961 Thunderbird

Those I'm really good with, because I worked in a bumper shop for many years, then towing. I had to know cars or you'd be looking all day for them.
  9. Hood angle similar to the 1961 Thunderbird

All depends on what you are used to. I find the 40's era to be one of the hardest to identify from a distance.
  10. Hood angle similar to the 1961 Thunderbird

I love the 68 and 70 Thunderbirds. Those 429 TJ engines were awesome. The 70 Bird had the Bunkie beak and 5 sequential tail lights on each side. With all the options and sportsroof they were very unique cars. I'm not a big fan of the 64-66's which had horrible front suspension, and were heavier...
  11. Ford needs to offer rwd and AWD on the new Mustang!!! Changing traction via a toggle switch.

That works well until it hits 60-70, then pulls power.
  12. Ford needs to offer rwd and AWD on the new Mustang!!! Changing traction via a toggle switch.

Really wouldn't have made much difference. Stock there was very little wheelspin. I don't see more than a tenth or two loss on a concrete road. Definitely not 13 seconds slow!
  13. What will it take to save the V8 Mustang?

Lack of demand once all these people get their wish for a HP 6 cylinder (providing that manufacturers keep investing to build 6's (inline or V) and fail to keep evolving the V8). That is what will kill the V8.
  14. What will it take to save the V8 Mustang?

I doubt it. It hasn't yet, even though they have tried for 50 years.
  15. What will it take to save the V8 Mustang?

Every Ford EV sold helps keep the MPG average up so the V8 Mustang can stay in production. The V8 won't die if enough people buy them. As much as most of us hate the Mach E, it has a purpose, and it is raising cafe numbers.
  16. Ford needs to offer rwd and AWD on the new Mustang!!! Changing traction via a toggle switch.

Is that metric seconds? LOL. My stock 18 GT did the 1/4 in 11.92/118
