Ignoring your silly comment.
PHEV sales are increasing in many countries more than expected which is why a lot of Chinese brands are now producing PHEV's or REEV's to go alongside their EV and petrol models.
They don't work for everybody of course but no vehicles do however if you do mostly...
Don't be afraid...there are two basic types of hybrids plug in and non plug in - Well actually that isn't correct, you mention FHEV and PHEV, which I did, but you obviously forgot mHEV, REHV (REEV) and also FCEV all of which are hybrids. No reason the be smug it seems.
We don't all live in the...
Of course some people really like the new dash.
Fully autonomous vehicles will never cope with British country roads even if they may work on motorways.
The world moves on and the future will be for those in the future. I certainly wouldn't want to go back to the Benz Motorwagen
You were not specifying which hybrids hence the reason I was being very specific regarding PHEV / FHEV or even EV to avoid confusion. Hybrid covers far too many different types I'm afraid.
But just to confirm the Ford FHEV doesn't have adjustable regen either
LOL - your favourite response :like:
Well our Ford PHEV does not have adjustable brake regen - hey but what do I know I only own one
What the hell has ideology got to do with how hybrids work?
Still no source for your table - did you make that up as well?
Assuming a manual Tremec box, 1kg short of oil would be catastrophic. 1kg of gearbox oil is about 1.2 litres and the gearbox only has 3 litres in it when full.
600g missing from the diff means it is effectively empty as it only has 830ml in it.
That is EXACTLY what I said - EV's can adjust regen braking but most hybrids can't - please read more carefully! FHEV/PHEV and EV are not the same - the clue is in the name. You are literally arguing against yourself there.
It was you that said hybrids recharge the battery using the engine but...
So what is that higher authority?
Where does that authority lie today?
I can understand the idea that God was that higher authority back then but we all know that the position of religions has changed considerably since the 1700's This seems to me to be one of the problems when things like the...
Source?
Of course the ICE is doing most of the work when driving, you do know how small a FHEV battery is don't you compared to a PHEV? Nothing LOL about that?
Funny how a Corvette owner joins a Mustang forum to argue about hybrids?
You have clearly never owned or driven a FHEV as virtually none of them have any adjustment on the regen - you are confusing with EV's
Again data doesn't back up what you are saying
Fuel consumption of hybrid electric vehicles under real-world road and temperature conditions - ScienceDirect
OK you try reading a bit on hybrids and you may learn a thing or two - it couldn't be more simple and is literally there in black and white
What is a self-charging hybrid car?
However, unlike plug-in hybrid cars, self-charging hybrids have smaller batteries, and do not require topping-up from...
