  1. Gas prices [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

There has been talk of increasing production to replace the losses through Hormuz but nothing has come of it. It suits the oil companies to keep the price high anyway. The US will be looking to sell some of the domestic market oil to others to fill the gap until Hormuz is re-opened. Demand will...
  2. Gas prices [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

But with a unified price of course it affects everybody the same way. Lack of oil through Hormuz means more has to come from elsewhere which means increased demand from fewer sources and hence higher prices. It has always been this way and always will.

  4. Gas prices [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

It is a global commodity with a global price so everybody will see the same end result. It is (like all commodities including gold, silver etc a confidence market. Oil prices are rising because of uncertainty about future supplies especially to parts of the world supplied via the Straits of...

  7. Gas prices [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

To be fair smaller garages / franchises pay spot prices for fuel unlike bigger chains that can buy ahead. So just because one garage is £170/l doesn't mean they are automatically making more money than another one at £1.30/l, just depends when they bought the fuel. Some garages buy fuel daily.
  8. How long to wait before waxing?

CARNAUBA WAX CONCENTRATE Have used this for years - dilute to taste! Used after pretty much every wash, takes about 10 minutes. My S650 at 6 years old used as a daily looked like new when I sold it
  9. Lane keep assist tried to end me

I made the mistake of posting on the 6th gen site with my 7th gen avatar - they tried to rip me a new arsehole for suggesting a 7th gen could be in any way better! Having had both I do feel equipped to express a valid opinion, although obviously somebody who has bever had a Mustang and drives a...

Well, 16 months in, 10,000 miles and still not seen another S650 on the road!
  11. Lane keep assist tried to end me

It is better than the S550 but as I said above it is a GT car not a sports car. LOL - tyre pressure makes a significant difference if way too high or too low as some cars get delivered. Some have been delivered at 40psi.
  12. Lane keep assist tried to end me

Cos US politicians are beacons of light of course
  13. Lane keep assist tried to end me

That is exactly how it did work on the S550 but regulations change
  14. Lane keep assist tried to end me

Tyre pressures. Whilst not the best (compared to say Lotus) the steering is not that bad! I have certainly driven much worse, VW group cars come to mind there. Funny how politicians are 'deeply retarded' when they do things you don't like, of course other people will hold a different view! I...
  15. Lane keep assist tried to end me

Lane Assist, Speed warning and driver monitoring are all now mandatory in Europe. Not Ford's decision. Don't confuse sharp (gearing) steering with weight and feel - three different things. Also your position in the car will give a different sensation - you sit further back from the front...
  16. Lane keep assist tried to end me

You cannot turn it off permanently as it is now an EU requirement on all new cars. You can do it using Forscan but beware unintended consequences. Check your front tyre pressures - if overinflated they will give that effect. Correct pressures are on the door jam sticker. It is a GT not a sports...
  17. Why doesn't Ford make the rotary transmission found in the Shelby GT 500 available to all Mustangs?

Because it is not an 'emergency' brake it is a parking brake. The reason they are electronic is because they apply the parking brake to full force which with a manual parking brake many people don't. It is virtually impossible for the brakes to fail completely on a Mustang unless somebody is...
  18. Lane keep assist tried to end me

Double press the Lane Assist button on the steering wheel when you start to turn it off. Has no effect on steering feel You can adjust steering weight through My Mustang settings
  19. FORD Lightning EV is dead. (Article)

Only it says the replacement will be a range extender version with full electric drive - as in the same thing as before, but with a small ICE to 'extend range'. They are quite common elsewhere in the world and are easy to create alongside a full EV. BMW i3 was one of the first.
  20. Extensive Photos 24 GT Coolant Level Fluctuating?

If you can smell it you have a leak - the coolant is dripping onto something warm and evaporating. It needs very little to make a smell so you will have to look very hard to find it.
