The normal default is 80%
If you want to charge the battery above this use an external charger, however it will soon drop back to 80%.

Ford dropped them because of sealing and durability issues but plenty of others use them without those issues. Ford still use plastic on many engines where there have not been such issues.
Materials have developed considerably since the days 'everything had to to be metal'. Plastic oil pans also reduce noise. Plastic intakes have better thermal management as well as reduced costs.
Autocar in the UK have recorded 42.3m from 70mph to 0mph for the DH on their test track
Not many cars better than that other than true exotica such as Ferrari 488 and Porsche 918 Spyder (37.8m best recorded to date)
Checking after you have just shut down the car is little use. It will always show 12.7 ish volts at that point. It is what it is showing after a few days that matters and what the BMS will use as information to determine whether to shut down the comms to save power.
