I looked at a Scat pack charger last fall (WB) and yes, had I not made the decision to put a new engine in my current vehicle (being covered by a lawsuit agreement), then I WOULD have purchased that Charger. I have had bad experiences with a Dodge and would rather have a Ford, but when I buy...
Ace,
This sort of what I was trying to get at in the other thread with my EXTREMELY limited editing skills (I am lucky I can do a simple squish). I still think the sheet metal on the sides is too much and it can lose a bit off the bottom/middle, but this is a nice rendering. Thank you for...
This is a simple vertical squish and the stance needs to be adjusted down and the black fender flares need to be changed to body color, but I think this looks like a much nicer car. It is NOT a mustang, but a few changes in the roofline and number of doors would take care of that.
Edit note...
I am "meh" on the EVOS. I would like more of a traditional trunk instead of the hatchback, but the biggest thing I don't like about it is the height as it is presented. Too much wheel arch gap, and the whole thing looks like the sheet metal is too high compared to the glass.
Lose two inches...
Personally, I would love it if they called the 4 door version a Thunderbird, Cougar, Mark, Falcon, Toreno, etc. I just want it built so I can buy a Ford instead of having to look elsewhere.
I have a Ford truck, I've had a Ford Thunderbird and I LOVED it. The DEW98 platform was wonderful and...
If a Lincoln comes into existence, I would like to see the following
More power than a standard mustang GT, but there may be special editions that have more. That's fine. I see these as similar to the Bullit/Mach 1 power numbers over the GT.
A V8.
Hybrid and Full on electric versions. For...
Heh, you probably didn't get a 20 on truck while at stop light either. There are days I can't sit on my couch or lay on my bed because my back hurts so much. It happens...
The mustang GT premium and the M340xi are probably right in line with each other. 50k is probably a good number. I know that when I've priced what I would want, it comes out around 50k or so.
Mustangs can cost 50-55k. I can get a BMW M340i for that easy. Yes, a little less horsepower, but will do a 0-60 in 4.1. So no, BMWs do not cost 2x as much to drive. That said, they have put a lot of emphasis on the driving experience you get out of their machines and it shows.
As for the...
first off, the taurus is no more...
Second, did you ever test drive one? I did, both the SHO and the Lincoln version. It was FWD biased and had a massive amount of torque steer on it. Put your foot on the gas and the steering wheel twists in your hands. Now go compare that to a BMW x drive...
The thunderbird was not a crown vic and neither is a 3 or 5 series. Honestly, that's what I would like the most, a personal cruiser that had enough room for a full sized adult in the back.
Yes, I would prefer 4 doors, even without kids. Makes it easier to get the 4 footed kids to the park and...
Personally, I prefer buttons, but I know some want touchscreens. That said...
I personally find that there are times I really want to turn off my display screen in my BMW, and my F350 (and I can in my F350), as the light can be distracting in certain conditions. I don't even want to speculate...
