The Mustang is going thru a 'transition', like people do these days. It is transitioning from ICE to EV and that is what that digital dash 'thing' is all about. If Ford was going to wait until until 2040 and not 2030 to go EV, the 2024 would have a traditional dash similar to the 550 with maybe...
I am beginning to warm up to the exterior even though I think it lost some of the nice lines and gloss black back end that the 550 has. I do prefer the 2018 + headlights curving downwards at the back end (very different than most cars). That big, clumsy and awkward looking interior dash...
I wouldn't mind seeing that, as well, but it probably won't be, judging be the camo pics. The electric (next) Mustang, however, WILL be like the 71, 72 or 67, 68 roofline, IMO.
IMO, the camo pics show that the roof line does not go all the way back ... '68. It would be nice to have that change, even though I like the way it is now ... '69.
I think you just pointed out why, for most part, I don't like this front end. I couldn't put my finger on it until now ... it has fox body vibes. Whew, I can can get some sleep now.
Great job on showing the 'distinctly probable' change from the 550 to 650, but if that front hood 'overhang' is actually there on the 2024, if will be a hard pass for me.
Not a fan of that straight line look ... too boxy IMO. I prefer the dual heat extractors over the single vent, as well; however, I will wait for the finished product before any complete judgement is made.
'Plain wrong' is, well ... plain wrong. I think most people buy what they want (within reason ... Bugatti?) ... at least people I know. I purchased the 4T because I don't need 'sound' like some do for whatever reason (I prefer the quite), nor do I need extra speed, the 4T has more than enough...
Age, sex and money, for the majority, do not play a role in choosing a 4T over a GT. I am neither young, nor poor and have no problem with power (my past cars will say that). i could rather easily afford a GT; I even looked at the GT 350, but the Turbo did it for me. as well as two other people...
The hood scoop, if there will actually be one, is a no go for me. I much prefer the heat extractors of S550. The side marker light also does not work with this car as presented; however, I do like the rear side curve or 'downward slope' above the wheel.
