LTH headers come with a built in flex pipe. Most of the rest dont. Has anyone managed to put one on kooks/SW or ARH. Just looking at the pics, it looks like it would be a tight fit
24 DH has very hard shifts after a few laps on track. this is despite the fluid temp being 210 degrees. It shifts hard enough that it causes the car to lunge and forces you to slow down. the feedback i've gotten suggests it is the transmission temp, but that does not seem to be the case. has...
you can adjust it yourself but it is a bit tedious
loosen the camber bolt at the back of the camber arm
the wheel will naturally want to fall inwards
put a crowbar in between the frame and the camber arm at the back of the camber arm
push on it with your foot while you measure the camber change...
you have to loosen the 3 shock mount bolts sticking up in the picture, then jack up the front wheels some and then using a crowbar, just slide the top of the shock inward some to get more negative camber. just looking at the pic, there is a lot of room to adjust your camber-the top of the shock...
when putting a new front sway bar into the car recently i noticed the factory bar bushings resisted deflection fairly strongly. i was not able to move the bar up by even an inch by hand. i suspect it adds 30-60 lb/in of additional spring rate. this goes away with poly bushings. i suspect poly...
another way to assess if the filter needs cleaning is to look at the intake manifold vacuum pressure. as the filter clogs, the pressure should drop. here is a pic of the pressure at 3k rpm. maybe check a baseline when filters are new and check it every few months
k&n makes a filter minder pictured here
you plug it into your intake
it measures negative pressure and tells you when your filter needs to be cleaned.
perhaps this would help here as well
the reason k and n are used in offroading is that it’s a 3d media that holds a lot of dirt before restricting flow. your filter appears to be 3d media. why do you feel it needs to be cleaned more often than the stock paper filter needs replacing?
