Well I washed Honey Blue today and at one point I wedged the hose into the left and right sides of the cowl for ~15 minutes each. Not a drop of water inside. I DID have my windshield replaced a few months ago so that may be the reason
Has anyone actually found water/moisture behind the kick...
I washed Honey Blue today and took the hose and purposely blasted water down under the cowl, especially on both sides. Not a drop inside as far as I can tell. Now of course I didn't take off the kick panels so water could be accumulating in some pocket back there. I have had my windshield...
Please watch what the inspection consists of because every pic I have seen shows sealant on the driver's side, and under the windshield over to the passenger side, yet my understanding is the BCM is on the passenger side so is the water leaking in on the driver's side and traveling over to the...
My windshield was replaced last year and is perfect so I don't want Ford touching it unless it cracks again. I am planning on running the check as soon as I get time, and depending upon the results, sealing the non windshield seams per the instructions. My car is outside 24x7 and thus gets a...
My V1 Gen2 would not power up plugged into the mirror USB. I purchased a kit on Amazon and wired it up to the rain sensor behind the plastic panel on the windshield. I also have a Blend Mount and use JBV1 when on Android and V1 Companion when using my iPhone. I actually prefer V1 Companion...
If anyone has the specifics, with pictures, on how to test for leakage please post.
I'm assuming, remove the kick panel and squirt a garden hose near the cowl but specific instructions would be helpful.
Thanks!
My windshield was replaced by a local, very professional shop a few months ago so I don't want Ford touching it. It's a factory windshield, not aftermarket.
So for my side topic of Sirius/XM not seeing the extra preset pages when using the steering wheel controls and the Channel 1 advertising appearing in the cycling but NO icon on the Favorites selections. I FINALLY figured it out. I had a favorite channel which at one time existed, maybe seasonal...
I'll give that a try. I have favorite pages set to "4" and I also notice that when cycling using the steering wheel buttons it only cycles page one and never jumps to the next pages.
Seems like something is hosed up with my Sync system.
Hi.
Correct. The problem I am having is the Sirius channel 1 (advertising) doesn't show on the favorites screen so I am unable to overwrite it. However when I use the steering wheel controls to cycle through favorites, it plays. It's weird.
If anyone knows how to remove the Sirius/XM info advertising channel 1 from favorites please let me know. It doesn't show up in either the Sirius favorites nor the Sync favorites so I cannot overwrite it with another channel as I know deleting a favorite is not possible.
