  1. Anyone else interested in analog guages

My one complaint is lack of numbers on the auxiliary gauge panels. They should be more informative IMHO. Unless I'm doing something wrong of course.
  2. Anyone else interested in analog guages

As an old fart coming from the days when we ran an oil line inside the car to a mechanical oil pressure gauge, I never thought I would like the digital displays but I do. One thing I did learn is you have to see them in person as the videos on the net don't seem to show them the best way. To...
  3. Center Screen Protector recommendations?

I used ammonia free glass cleaner and a quality microfiber cloth.
  4. Center Screen Protector recommendations?

That’s the one I have. Pricey but it fits.
  5. Now Available: MagnaFlow’s lineup for the 2024 Ford Mustang!

I had the Magnaflow touring (the quiet one not the Magnapacks) on my 03 GT and it's still on there to this day. I only had one complaint and that was some of the welds where the hangers connect rusted out and broke off. Easily fixed though. Other than that, fitment was perfect and the sound was...
  6. Anyone else following this story, cracked sparkplugs...

Well, he'll only be able to test one......
  7. Any OTA updates yet?

Oh the memories!!! Mine is long gone :( Thanks!
  8. WTF, carpet is disintegrating on passenger floorboard

Lol !!! I once purchased an 87 T-Bird from a young female... The headliner had two indents in it on both the passenger and driver's side. They were about the size of high heel pumps... I can only imagine.....
  9. B&O System is garbage

That's my opinion as well. The factory sub is "thumpy". The rest of the system sounds decent. Putting my Pioneer in this weekend.
  10. Vibration

Have the original 1/2 shafts put back in and start from square one.
  11. Active Valve Exhaust - How Important Is It?

Originally I did not order AE but the folks here convinced me to order it and I am 10000% happy I did. It is absolutely fantastic IMHO. For me, I don't see a reason to go aftermarket.
  12. Pony badge on front grille

I have Atlas Blue as well and I'm thinking of doing the same. A little pricy, but it looks fantastic IMHO.
  13. Strut tower brace for base Mustang GT

Same here. Order cancelled and FordPass points put back in my account. As for STB in general, I put a 3 point Maximum Motorsports one in my 03 GT vert and it made a major difference in controlling "cowl shake".. The car did not come with one stock.
  14. PP Oil Cooler install on my non-performance pack S650 Mustang

Same. Like most people, much of my life, time and money, was spent sacrificing and raising my kids so now it's time for me to enjoy my own life. I fully understand those who prefer the garage queen method, going to shows and so forth but I'm just different. As the saying goes "you can't take...
  15. Cutting factory springs?

These days yep, for sure. Back in the dark ages, not so much. Of course when we pulled engines we would park under a strong tree and use one of the limbs. Thinking about it, it's amazing we are still alive...lol !
  16. CarShield Ordered to Pay 10 Mil by FTC

Shops where I live rarely honor aftermarket, third party warranties. I'm sure there are exceptions but I don't know of any.
  17. PP Oil Cooler install on my non-performance pack S650 Mustang

This thread is a hoot! I'm still laughing... To keep on topic though, when I was a teen gearhead I used to hang out a local transmission shop where the owner had a reputation for building performance transmissions, mostly for Chrysler A904 and 727, but others as well. I saw first hand what...
  18. Cutting factory springs?

On a $50k car I would just go aftermarket or Ford Performance. In addition to the previous advice if you use a torch to cut you risk fatiguing the metal. Back in the dark ages, we used to cut springs all the time but the reason was because there were few, if any, aftermarket kits. One had to...
