This just goes to show how much the PCM can adapt the tuning depending on fuel type. It wasn't that long ago that it would be suicide to run a 12:1 compression engine on 87 octane regular fuel. It makes you wonder if it is also able to adapt to higher octane fuels to produce higher horsepower?
