This must be what Iām feeling with my ā24 GT. It seems like the clutch pedal has an extra long travel, then suddenly engages at the end. Very hard to control precisely compared to other MTs Iāve driven.
I havenāt looked close at mine yet, but couldnāt you just rip these things out with long needle nose pliers without cutting any of the plastic retainers out? Or are the filters too stiff?
Iāve got it at the recommended 32psi. The cars are transported at higher pressures. I donāt remember the reason why. (I think itās to avoid developing flat spots if theyāre sitting a long time š¤·) Dealers are supposed to lower pressure before delivery.
My GTw/PP feels very solid up to 100mph so far. Not necessarily a smooth ride with the stiff suspension, but definitely not floaty. I donāt have magnaride though. That may make a difference.
It sounded like the s650 was spinning more. I definitely think it has more potential than the s550, which makes sense because theyāre basically the same weight despite what the spec sheets said initially.
I bought the spherical knob from billetworkz and on their site it said Iād need their reverse lockout with a smaller diameter top end for all but the half-sphere knob designs for 2015+ mustangs.
Iāve got a billetworkz Iām going to install soon. I also have their reverse lockout replacement so that the knob doesnāt sit too high properly installed. Iām hoping the install is the same as s550 shown below. Has anyone removed the shifter boot in their 2024 to change the reverse lockout yet...
I got a 7mai 4K a810 dash cam and it looks like itās got a setting to power down after no movement for a while. Iām hoping that will work. Has anyone else installed this camera in your s650?
My opinion doesnāt matter much because my last Mustang was a 2006 GT and Iāve driven a Honda Accord Sport for the last 8 years, but I think my ā24 GT w/PP handles great and is definitely fast enough to get me in serious trouble. I havenāt felt uncomfortable in a corner yet, even though I may...
I just picked up one of these knobs along with their shorter reverse lockout. https://billetworkz.com/products/6-speed-gt-engraving-weighted-2015-mustang-fitment
Iām hoping the install wonāt be too challenging. The biggest concern I have is getting the shifter boot off without damaging any...
Picked it up last Thursday. $63,500 total including tax, registration, Xpel front PPF, ceramic, window tint (goes back to dealer this week for PPF/tint/ceramic), lifetime maintenance, and all fees. No issues so far. Iām at 171 miles. Iām breaking it in fairly gently, but Iāve corned at .88 Gs so...
For those of you that have owned previous model mustangs, how many of you actually saved money by buying an additional warranty/service contract and using it for something the factory warranty didnāt cover? I have a feeling itās a rare occurrence if weāre all honestā¦
