So, I was trying to not start new thread on this topic.......
Just last night, I got in my car and went to put it in my custom mode as I always do, and it was gone. Went to custom profiles, and none were setup, and I was unable to setup anything new.
So I got home and let it sit overnight...
Yeah, something similar. Going to try what is suggested earlier in moving slowly thru gears, sitting in neutral a second, then into park. Especially on short trips.
It's just drilling an additional hole in the bottom of existing tip right next to the already existing drain hole in the bottom. Shouldn't be difficult and "shouldn't" do anything with warranty.
Yeah, I've been looking at those options too. Like you said, a lot more $$ for black tips. Unless I'm expected to get significant performance difference from my H-pipe stock AE setup.
If I went this route, I think I would go with the Ford Performance with DH valence with the 5" tips to get...
I know. That's what it seems like minus a very few group that have completed it.
Just wish I could find a way to finish the stock tips in black to make them last. I don't mind the look, just want them black really at the end of the day.
So I'm trying to research best I can on replacing the tips on the AE with a welded tip solution. Not really keen on the slip/clamp on options out there. I've tried painting, which looks great to start, but just doesn't hold up.
So I know a lot of people are saying most exhaust/weld shops are...
Thought about this too......just can't get myself for $400ish forbkist tips, and not sure I really like the finish. Since they have MBRP cut through them and I'm not sure if it's the same gap all around. I'm not worried about drilling or anything, just if I'm going to only go tips, I'm...
Got it, and totally understand the point. So now, I'm re-thinking option since again, I don't mind the H-pipe with stock active setup.
1. Go full Corsa extreme cat-back setup.....
2. Just find new exhaust tips, powder coat, and not worry about the affect on the valves since I don't mind if...
Well, I guess $50 to resolve the issue isn't too bad. And I'm assuming this situation would occur with any non-active system, not just Ford Performance, right? Or there are other reasons why the statement of never buying Ford Performance?
Could really use some help here from the forum, as this is my first Ford (and obviously first Mustang). Currently have active exhaust with Steeda H-pipe, and really have no issues with it (as I run it in track mode pretty much whole time). That said, I'm always interested in different...
So I noticed something similar to this the other day. If I drive somewhere to run an errand, come back after a few minutes and do auto start, and I hear a "clank" sound. Seems like car lunges.
Someone on another group was saying it's normal with the transmission and it's something to lock in...
It's really unfortunate that this spoiler doesn't cover the middle holes.......I wonder why. Because while most people may not even notice, unfortunately I wouldn't be able to let it go...
For those that have installed the RTR decklid spoiler, did any of you have any issue with a bump forming along the line where it meets the stock trucklid line? I installed on Monday, following all directions, and noticed this bump today. I was shocked it was so localized and not just along...
