It's just drilling an additional hole in the bottom of existing tip right next to the already existing drain hole in the bottom. Shouldn't be difficult and "shouldn't" do anything with warranty.

Just not sure how to do so without removing the whole muffler system, which doesn't seem like viable option.

I know. That's what it seems like minus a very few group that have completed it. Just wish I could find a way to finish the stock tips in black to make them last. I don't mind the look, just want them black really at the end of the day.
