Wow, $60 at dealer for install?? That's amazing. Looks so good. You happy with it? I bet it is such a nice subtle change on interior. Wish it came that way.
From what I remember, it's just the one piece (carbon surround with the boot portion). The hardest part was getting the boot over the new know, had to cut and stretch a little.
Yeah, found this post that somewhat shows screen removal. Just worried about getting everything back nice without damaging anything.
And when you're talking about the center portion, are you noting you just have to remove part of the lower console, like where the shifter is? Or there is more...
Wow, definitely not as easy as I would have assumed with just some pop clips and maybe a screw here or there. As good as these pieces look, not sure it's worth the trouble now.
True, but you know arm/leg, and most the time they don't take the time/care for it. But would sure finish it all off nicely with all the other black trim items.
Have you done anything about the steering wheel pieces?
Nice. Post pics when you receive if you don't mind.
But yeah, trying to find information on removing these pieces without messing with other components is difficult.
Anyone have a link to video or steps to remove dash pieces, specifically the vent pieces as well as the piece over the glove box? Been searching, but no luck on the S650.
Agreed, it cleans up the doors nicely. Just wish I could figure out a good way for the vent surrounds or the surround piece over the glove box. Tried to pull the one vent piece on driver side, but it goes behind the screen and felt like i was pulling on the screen at that point and gave up.
And...
It's honestly not that bad at all. Hardest part was getting the ball out of the older door hinge, takes some pressure/prying to do it. Just take your time and care. Use some rags in creases when prying off the trim pieces to avoid scratching the other parts of the door. I used this video to...
So i had sent a PM about whom contact may be to best reach out to at Borla. It seems like I'm having similar issue and wonder if we had mufflers in similar batch. See pics. If you can PM me contact, I'd appreciate it.
So, is it possible they got closer after install and running them for a while. I just went and looked at mine, and now they seems super close with gravel and debris all stuck in between. I don't remember noticing anything prior to install, but now they definitely seem like your pics.
Hey yall, been messing around with spash screens, and not having any luck (other than the raptor splash screen which is fun). Seems like the "Ford Performance" that I've seen on other videos isn't an offering, unless it's listed as something else.
Also, seems like the "GT" splash screen...
Yeah, the cupholder ring is a little ridiculous in price considering once you actually get the part and how small it is. I had some leftover Fordpass points to use to helped with that item, so my cost was primarily the door handles and grips.
Now, if you want to talk pricey..........the vent...
Ah, ok. It did say something like service procedure complete when it had me cycle ignition off then on. I'll go back into that settings to check again. Thanks.
So just reporting back.....the IPC was set correctly already at "D".....the APIM needed to be revised to "4". Now it shows in track settings.
As far as the PCM, I tried to go in that module and it took a little more time and had me cycle the ignition off and back on, so seemed like that reset...
