Not the same guy but very similar builds. Mine is still scheduled for 6/27 as of 6/2.
I don't expect problems as many NP's have started production already from what others have been posting.
Yeah I'm thinking it'll be around GT3 RS prices if it truly is a GT3 car for the road.
If it's just a 350R successor with a big wing and fender flares then it'll prob go for around $100k.
My main point wasn't cash vs finance. It was what people are doing currently with that cash. $60k lying around is a waste vs investing in almost anything else. Well maybe not options lol.
I do agree with your earlier point though. Not having debt can be a huge benefit to your finances and...
Not wearing a helmet on a motorcycle is incredibly stupid. Same with not wearing a seat belt. But like you said, it's your choice so I'm not gonna stop you 👍
I do feel bad for the EMT that has to scrape your body off the pavement tho.
Nice! You seem to have your finances sorted. I was just mainly talking about a situation of having all your cash in a checking/saving account.
Enjoy your Stang 👍
Having some liquid emergency money is never a bad idea. Especially if it's earning good interest. A money market account is a good way to go
Main problem is when people hold cash "under the mattress" so to speak, that money is just losing value all the time.
Having that much cash doing nothing is throwing money away. If not invested, depending for how long, you would have missed out on much more than whatever the couple thousand the financing would've costed in the end.
So yeah, holding cash as it gets eaten away by inflation is worse.
Kind of crazy how top of the line DH buyers are having to wait the longest. Have you thought about going for a GT and trading it in for the next GT350 equivalent when it comes out? Depending on how my job goes in the next 2-3 years might do just that.
