Hey there, has anyone tried the SmartTop-module from the Gen 6 in the Gen 7? It allows for opening and closing without holding the button and also enables operation at higher speeds. Manufacturor told our reseller there were already Gen 7 cars in the US using it but that they have not yet made...

I would like to remove this hinged cover/cap: Preferably without breaking the socket or the front plate in which the socket is mounted. Any trick to get the ring with the hinge on it out, or the whole socket so the hinge can be dremeled off?

My German GT mirrors do fold after locking the car and I'm actually looking for a way to turn it off / set to manual. Don't like the look and in many parking situations there's no risk when having them in normal position.

You sure the signal in each of the two original sub lines are mono'd and thus the same? If not, drums and bass instruments are not always placed in the center, so you'll miss sometimes something.

You can actually install any non active exhausts. There are fake actuators available which just are plugged in and mounted somewhere. Obviously switching modes won't change a thing soundwise, but you'll have consistently your preferred V8 music.

Can also release/pull the original wires out of the plugs and find them having a solid sleeve on their ends. Still short and need gynecologist fingers to connect them, but doable. Some info and a video about it is hidden somewhere in the numerous threads.
