They really cut the option available on the ecoboost, No more performance pack and magnaride. I wonder why.
I guess I was lucky to order my in 02/2024 since I was able to get these options.
At the minimum get some A/S tires. You are playing with your life and the life of other. Summer tires are NOT for winter and furthermore wide tires are a real snowboard when it comes to snow.
I totally agree with you. Personally I am so tired of the whites, blacks, silvers, grays and reds. Just look in a parking lot. Furthermore there is a gray out there that looks like the gray paint used on a garage floor, YUCK! At least in the 70's you could get colors that weren't "standard"...
I love the Boss 302. I had a Mach 1, 1971 in 75 paid about 2k for it. I regret it so much selling it.
Imagine that a brand new 1970 boss 302 cost about 3k in 1970. Today this car could be worth anywhere between 70k to 100k
I might go as you for the undercarriage. And about those holes. I was reading a post regarding this before I got my mustang delivered and when I did, 07/23/24, I brought it in my favorite garage to look at it and we didn't see any of these holes. I am wondering if Ford fix that?
Good if you don't get that much snow. I wish we only got as little as you do.
Then the trick with a cc or old gift card will do the trick
And for 4 season tires you should be good even with a little snow.
Like robvas said, it's usually that seal and the side windows one that will freeze and stop the windows to go down. I always have that problem with my fusion.
Also remotely starting it will not, well most of the time, will not defrost that seal.
You have 3 option here
1: Use an old credit...
I also bought a ecoboost 24 and got it in September.
I love this car. Power is perfect. Acceleration is almost as fast as the GT (less than 1 sec for 0 to 100km) and cheaper to run all around. For my regular driving it's perfect, plus I have all the whistle and bell I could get on that...
I am curious to see if you store your mustang in winter.
I live in Quebec city and I store my car for winter. Salt, sand and everything else they put on the road will damage too much the car. That's not counting the cost of winter tires. I paid over 70k cad money and I would like to keep my car...
I get what you are saying but your winter are probably a lot milder than ours. Getting an underbody wash each week is not practical here as it gets way too cold and some parts will freeze and break. Like today it's -12c around -10f and in the middle of winter we easily get -20c to -40c.
Also...
I am curious on why would you run your mustang in winter, unless there is no salt on the road and that your winter are very mild

I ordered a premium 2024 ecoboost with performance pack, magna ride and active exhaust system. I do have the paddle shifter, Brembo brake and 3.55 diff. But I also know it was the last year that they offered those package.
I love my it, exhaust sound is really not that bad and unless you are...
I live in Quebec city and winter is rough here and I don't want to use it during winter. This will probably be the last car I buy so I would like to keep it in good condition, no rust mostly. Sad but it's my reality.
I should add that it was worth the wait considering I will have a model...
Finally it's here after more than 7 months. Dealer didn't call me yet but I am planning on going there later today. I will be able to enjoy it for a 1 1/2 month before storing it.
Yes patience is a virtue and it's been finally rewarded. It's finally build. Yesss. I hope yours is also build.
Now the big question is: Is the estimated shipping date is accurate? If so, I will be able to enjoy my car a few months before putting it away.
But regardless, the wait is...
I am in the same boat as you my production date was 8/8 and it still show in production today. I have been waiting since 2/20 I hope I will get before November 1
