I am in the process of making my own fog light for my mustang 2024.
I have different LED configuration that I am looking at and I don't need to have it SAE compliant. But I am wondering if having fog in the 3000k at around 15k lumens would be illegal for street use?
When I look at after...
Your price are in US dollars. An ecoboost base model is starting in Canada at 40675 and a GT start at 54675.
My premium ecoboost with magnaride, active exhaust and the PP last year was 60k, not including taxes, and these option are not even available today.
And I have a feeling that price...
I would get a ceramic coating which will help a lot for little scratches. But like everyone else stated there is not that much you can do beside staying as far away as possible from the car in front of you.
First off, I don't want to start a political thread so please don't go there.
If Trump goes ahead and impose a 25% on all importation from Canada I have a bad feeling that the price of the mustang and other car will go up.
In 2023 you imported around 20B in metal which 11.4 just in aluminum...
I wouldn't bet right now on ICE car being retired. Hyundai and KIA just achieve using ammonium in a 2.0l motor and this mean no CO2 emission. Well the tech has been around for a while, but now they are investing more research into it.
Hyundia-Kia Breakthrough: CO2-Free Engine Powered By Ammonia...
When I received my Ecoboost PP I disable lane assist and it never came back on.
Furthermore this is what ford service is saying
Lane Keeping System - Switching the Lane Keeping System On and Off

Getting the AES was a little over 1200.00$ compare to how much it's going to cost you doing all these changes. I am wondering if it's worth the hassle and how much will you save?
If you only want speed buy an EV.
For the same car, if you want to go a bit faster from 0 to 100 get an automatic.
If you want to save a bit of money on gas buy an automatic
If, for you the driving experience is what drives you then get an manual. I agree that there is nothing more fun then...
I totally agreed. Price are getting way too high.
Here is a comparison in CAD vs US price

I have been going thru all of the post in this post (hum this sounds weird lol) And here is what I can get out of it.
1: Starter life
2: Motor life
3: Emissions
4: Cost of gas
5: A lot of stat some with figures some only hearsay
Here are my conclusion:
A lot of you guy when you bought this car...
It's not only about saving money on gas Some of us are responsible about trying to save the planet and reducing CO2.
I know you will probably say that having a V8 is not the car to get, but considering that in the city with the lights and everything else, your car is probably at idle 40 to...
That is exactly what I have 2024 EB premium with PP, magnaride and active exhaust system.
I love it. Acceleration is very decent, well more than decent. Fuel is good averaging 9.8L/100km (about 24mpg). My fusion 2013 titanium with a 2.0l is 9.2 so not that much more. I always drive it at...
I am curious about age/gender with the trim of mustang you bought to see if there is any correlation on it.
Of course your financial situation will do a lot on that choice
This is the info I have from Motor Trend for the 2024
EB
GT
DH
2024 Ford Mustang 0-60 MPH, 1/4-Mile Times: Dark Horse, GT, EcoBoost Tested
Weird it seems that the DH is a bit slower on the 1/4 mile
You are absolutely right about 0 - 100, 5 sec. 0 - 60 is less than 1 sec for all trims...

I get that the EB should be an entry level but on the other hand it's still a sport car so why cutting on all the perk that makes it a better sport car. Beside the V8 there is no difference in the car, I mean chassis wise.
You are probably right for the magnaride anyway. I ordered my car in 2/2024 and got it 10 9/2024. If Ford is having issue with supply they have to make a choice.
Not in my case anyway. I am perfectly satisfy with my EB and buying a V8 with the same option would have cost me almost 25k more, not including gas, insurance and registration. And for what, less than 1 sec faster from 0 to 60?
Driving it is a real pleasure and I don't regret it. I just...
