Alright... Life got in the way so I just today pulled filters.
Installed at 3,000 miles, today car is at 8,000. Did an oil change, pulled and inspected filters.
Very clean... almost in like new condition. I expected them to be a LOT dirtier then they were given my OEM's were quite dirty at 3k...
OK I'll try this in a bit. I don't imagine I'd do it very often with the app.... but coworkers like to smoke near where my car is parked and I see hijinks in the future if this works lol.
Following... I have a non ACC car and have been reading through this thread looking for info since I suspect there isn't much if any hardware differences outside of the buttons on the steering wheel.
People don't know what they are missing. This is Mustang #9 for me and definitely my favorite by a lot.
Less on the road just means mine is more unique!
Agree 100%. This reasoning is 100% why I bought these filters. I will be hitting the 6k mile mark (3000 miles since filters installed) this week and this weekends task will be cleaning and drying the filters. I'll snap a few pics for the thread. My intent is clean every 3k miles unless I note...
Mine started doing that after the last apple update. I reset the car's system (under settings, reset) and deleted car from iPhone (under bluetooth AND carplay settings). Set it back up and it's been fine ever since. I feel like this was more on Apple's side than Ford's, other apps are working...
OP I see you are in Tucson. I am up in Phoenix and am happy to figure out a time/location to check the few items here in question for you. But I would NOT be afraid to keep this car and other than removing the plaque would do nothing but enjoy it.
I bet they removed the carbon filters and put in aftermarket air filters... took all gains from the internet to heart.
OP there is no non-forced induction tuning available to add power yet and like others have said you'd notice headers.... I wouldn't be afraid of it.
