  1. Parking Lights flash when a door is opened or closed.

My '26 GT Premium does this, the prior '24 GT Base did not.
  2. Status on known 2026 Mustang defects and issues....are any of these resolved yet?

Exactly. We will do whatever we need to for it to fit right, adjustments will usually do the job. BUT, sometimes it requires body and paint work, and while you as the customer are entitled to have it fit right, I STRONGLY discourage going this route. If you are bothered by a small misalgment...
  3. Status on known 2026 Mustang defects and issues....are any of these resolved yet?

My opinion is that Ford's Sync system is junk. I worked for Lexus for 11 years before coming to Ford, and NEVER had problems like these do. I think its just another example of "good enough" engineering from Ford. I put a crakcase pressure sensor in a new, 1,000 mile Bronco last month and two...
  4. Status on known 2026 Mustang defects and issues....are any of these resolved yet?

On a 5.0, either F-150 or Mustang, oil leaks are pretty rare unless its a real high mile vehicle.
  5. Status on known 2026 Mustang defects and issues....are any of these resolved yet?

I made the point once, to several people's dismay, that these are mid priced, domestic cars, built by union labor.
  6. Status on known 2026 Mustang defects and issues....are any of these resolved yet?

I had a '24 for 2 years and 17K miles, and 2K miles into my '26. The only reason I traded was Adriatic Blue! I've loved both cars, and I personally had no issues with either one. Things I've seen on the drive... a good number of taillights, which at $1,800 a pop, that tells me we ALL need an ESP...
  7. Status on known 2026 Mustang defects and issues....are any of these resolved yet?

Dug a bit more and found this... looks like only one days engine production. Affected vehicles: select units of the Ford Maverick built on October 31st, 2025; units of the Lincoln Corsair built on November 6th; units of the Ford Mustang built October 23rd; and units of the Ford Explorer built...
  8. Status on known 2026 Mustang defects and issues....are any of these resolved yet?

Not disputing that, I have just not seen a car with these issues come in. The key word in a recall notice is "certain" It may be a small sample, we had an F-150 recall last year that only applied to 300 vehicles nationally. The cyl head recall you mentioned affects 4 cyl models. We used to sell...
  9. Status on known 2026 Mustang defects and issues....are any of these resolved yet?

I work in service at a Ford dealer, and other than the panel fit issues, I have not seen any of the items on the list. YMMV
  10. S197 GT500 axle back on S650 GT?

I can't imagine that it would be worth the effort, unless you have a lift and a welder and some fab skills. Even then...
  11. S197 GT500 axle back on S650 GT?

I used an '18-'23 axleback on my '24 with no issues.
  12. Water leaking into Trunk

We also sprinkle baby powder on it to see where the trail begins. At the dealership level, squeaks, rattles, wind noise and water leaks are the worst thing to deal with.
  13. Water leaking into Trunk

I have not seen that complaint yet, and there are no relevant TSB's or special service messages. Normally, when they are plainly as visible as that, they are easier to find.
  14. Has anyone paid a dealership to upgrade Co-Pilot360 to Co-Pilot 360 Assist+

A lot of times our FDRS will not allow updates like this, but Forescan will. I wanted the gear indicator on all the time and FDRS could not do it.
  15. Has anyone experienced inadequate quality issues with RTR vehicles?

We've got one here that has been around for 6 months and it looks the same. But the non RTR cars rust as well. In our climate, rotors will flash rust overnight.
  16. Dark Horse SC Availble

I know that many of you have been to college, and have taken at least Economics 101. Do you recall supply and demand? I don't know, or care, what sales sells cars for, but to have them referred to as "scum" for following a simple rule of economics is a bit much. The market sets the price, the...
  17. Dark Horse SC Availble

No idea, I'm in service and heard we had the allocation from the sales manager that I am friendly with.
