Yeah, that makes sense. I hadn't parsed that correctly and was thinking it was going on much later. As for the dad...I don't know exactly what kind of road it was and how much traffic, etc. Dad might have thought it was a "safe" place to let his son experiment and figured...get it over with...
Ok, bud, relax. Nobody will ever break the rules and go over the posted speed limits. You obviously never do that either. You might also take a look at your mental state. If people asking theoretical questions on the internet offends you...... In any case, not all of us are so all knowing...
Are you looking at the same video? If what you say is true, the graph would look much like the "stock" line...even keel until about 5,000 where it would shoot up to the 720+ HP. Instead, the graph shows a very steady progression. It's true that the car picks up at about 3,000 RPM. But that's...
Ok, ok...that makes more sense. I had the picture of already being at speed for some time, probably around 70 or so and then just suddenly having that happen. That would not be fun! But while you're starting the pull and all that acceleration, it makes more sense.
So what would make the car do this when it's already up to speed? I get not mashing the gas as you turn and pull out of a parking lot or in a corner, but going STRAIGHT at high speed these things will hop sideways like that???
I just saw someone post that the message comes on along with the ambient lighting being reset and you don't have scheduled updates enabled. I thought it WAS normal. I'm not sure what exactly the hell that MEANS...but I usually tell it NOT to turn off the sensors.
Yep, it sounds like similar issues in any case. I did set my car to schedule updates for 1AM any day as I had heard that without that, the lighting colors might reset periodically. I just noticed today though (I assume we got an update yesterday) that my car is starting up to the menu that...
Sorry if I missed it in an earlier post, but is your car fairly new? I've had mine for two months and for a while it would periodically reset my chosen colors for ambient and for the gauges. Keep doing that, even though I set a profile and everything. Then a couple of times it just reset the...
This! The resetting to normal mode is a regulatory compliance thing. Same with the auto-off for the engine when you're sitting still. They have to make those things default. If your car was remembering sport mode you were just lucky....for that period of time!
Cool! Thanks! I've been concerned about that. Thinking I might want to lower a bit once the blower is installed. Or get 20" wheels...still not sure about that, but banging on my driveway or exiting parking lots was my main concern!
Looks fantastic. Beautiful car! But how is it when you come off a driveway or onto the streets? Scraping the bottom now? And is this with 19" or 20" wheels?
