Lol. I'm with @Decio. I know it was a joke for this review, but I refuse all stickers, plate frames, etc. Dealers have always been nice enough to remove them without complaint when I've asked.
Agreed. Seems most of the influencers/professional reviewers did little homework to get their video out in a hurry. They all had mistakes of one kind or another.
You know, after Ford has presented solid offers, the best by far of the three, this is unfortunate. But then I think about our good friend Shawn Fain. Top 5-10 UAW brass makes $200-300k per year. It's a business. They have over $1B in assets. 690 employees. They may be just as, or more...
This argument makes no logical sense. The S650 is slower because you don't know how fast it is or because you aren't willing to compare apples to apples? Cringey.
Which dashcam? I went with the Vantrue N4 pro, and haven't installed it yet, but looking forward to it after the tint is installed. Kind of hoping and thinking it can shut down automatically when parked.
Hmm. I had that in my S550 too. The difference was mid-drive for me. Unmistakeable and sudden acceleration improvement. Wasn't gradual. I wondered if Ford controlled it for some reason. Totally had me smiling silly. But once or hit, it was there from then on.
Heads up display would be really nice!! I kind of wondered if they punted on that because of the new screen setup or maybe just the software challenge of building it...or cost... 🤷🏼♂️
They don't lose money, although many add markups that are worth more to them than x-plan. But if your dealer accepts x-plan, you should be okay. You just need them to answer you on that.
Totally agree. Mine felt noticeably slower when I drove it off the lot. It's already noticeably faster (535 miles in) and I haven't pushed it hard yet. So many upgrades over my '21 S550, and I'm loving it.
For those who are waiting or considering ordering, sorry the topic keeps getting...
Going from the 2021 GT Premium, A10, PP, AVE, 401A (all my 26k miles)
To the 2024 GT Premium, M6, PP, AVE, MR, 401A (13 miles when I got it, 510 now)
And having read so many different opinions and experiences of reviewers who have driven the new car sometimes only briefly and folks who have not...
I second this. I've put just over 500 miles on mine, and coming from the '21 A10, it's still (M6) surprisingly quick. Seemed to get faster with more miles all while staying in lower RPMs (ok, occasionally hitting 5k). I can't wait to see what it does when really pushed.
I wouldn't want them pulling door/dash panels right now. Risks other issues, if only loosening the panels (vibration, etc.). If you get the extended warranty, awesome. I'd take it too. Without a warranty, and even with it, things may or may not become a problem. It's easy to run water over...
I'm not sure it should be switched power. For a dashcam with parking mode, you need constant power. Better on the mirror than hardwiring it yourself.
But...I haven't installed mine yet. Parking mode might require separate wires anyway? Hope not. But not sure how it would know when it's...
Got the car. As mentioned by others, the liners are front and rear. Carpeted are front only. They should not be stacked.
I like the liners for sure. One drawback is that your heel can get caught in the grooves when clutching.
