I'm picking mine up in about 6 hours. Dealer sent me pictures that show floor liners installed up front and front carpeted mats (no rear mats) in the trunk, but shoot, maybe they have rears too! I'll confirm.
The option I'm aware of for $200 is for a second set for the front (carpet and rubber "premium" mats). Have to say, though, that $200 for a pair of small rear mats, if they do offer it, seems very expensive.
It's not necessarily about different states. Someone who has state minimums may well be sued personally and be held liable for many years if they aren't suffiently covered. 25/50k, for example, won't even cover most new cars these days, never mind an expensive car, multiple cars, etc. State...
And, although I'm not advocating for it for the same reason I question it, why not pay CEOs 800 or 1000 times the lowest? I just don't understand general statements about pay like this.
That wasn't my question. In your world, who gets to do it? The communist government? The employees who can't run a company? The customers who don't want to pay for things? How do you justify in real world outcomes (not made up ideas that sound good in a vacuum) letting someone else make...
Why does that need to change? Just trying to understand the data and where this comes from. Someone will always make more money than someone else. Who gets to set pay for all employees? A communist government?
We're always in a world different than a year ago or even yesterday. If the UAW weren't here, hypothetically, Ford would still pay what it takes to retain employees (or go out of business). We have a system far different than 100 years ago and employees are very well protected. I'm not...
Are you willing to say the lowest paid employees should never make more than 1/100 of the CEO? What if the CEO makes $100k? Or $1M? Should the CEO simply outsource labor? No entry level jobs with opportunity to grow with a strong company? Manipulating the market for no other benefit than to...
No doubt. Their current offer is impressively generous. Doesn't look like they were trying to low-ball their employees. They have a business to run though, and I'd love to see the data anyone has that says the employees should be paid even more. Not saying it isn't true. Just think we don't...
Let's do the math for that argument. If you divide Farley's total compensation by the total number of Ford employees, and simply not pay him a dime, they would each get $120.81 per year. With a median salary of $74,377.23, I don't think it makes a bit of sense to talk about Farley or reducing...
Had my dealer share my "ETA Disposition", and he said it says "To be decided". Does anyone know what means? My ETA has also been pushed out repeatedly.
15% driver, passenger and rear. Darkest I dare go at night. 5% small windows. I'm considering front with high visibility, 70+%, but still not sure. All ceramic for sure.
"Those priorities are far richer than during prior contract negotiations between the two sides. The union’s demands include a 46% wage increase, restoration of traditional pensions, cost-of-living increases, reducing the workweek to 32 hours from 40 and increasing retiree benefits."
I wish I...
Yeah, maybe not that simple. Supply chain has been a problem in many sectors. Tariffs contribute to the problem for the specific areas they were implemented, but a blanket statement... Chip supply has been a big problem since China manufacturing took a hit with COVID. All the "free" money...
