If it's the normal exhaust popping, it's a beautiful thing. Mine pops and gurgles more than my s550 did, and it sounds wonderful. Usually happens when engine braking or quick shifting. If it's something else, that's more concerning.

So, you convinced me to go with 55% on the windshield. I stayed with 15% and 5% for the other windows. And I'm GLAD you did -- I LOVE the windshield tint! Stunning. I wasn't ready to go with 35% on the front, but both your vehicles look great. Like @Dena mentioned, I've always been leery...

Beautiful car. Did you get it? When I traded-in my 750 LXI, the worst trade offer came from BMW. Every other dealer offered more. And I decided I would probably never own another BMW if that's how they valued their own brand.

Found the brand...the PPF is Ceramic Pro Kavaca. I'm not sure how it compares to Xpel, but I'll bet others here will have an idea.

Totally agree, (professionally) painted would be my preference too, but vinyl is undoubtedly cheaper.

I'll hunt down the PPF brand, but it's 14mil ceramic coated PPF (yes, on top of ceramic for the whole car), with a 10-year warranty and free yearly maintenance. I had everything quoted as a single cost, PPF, ceramic (lifetime warranty) and window tint (including windshield, also lifetime...

Thank you! I like that mirror-like reflection, between the paint correction and the ceramic. I also had the rims and calipers ceramic'd, which makes that red pop real well. Haven't washed it yet, but should be easy to clean.

Thank you! They did an amazing job with the PPF. Entire bumper (including around every piece of molding), full hood (including all slats on the vent), full fenders, headlights, a-pillars, 1/3 roof, mirrors, door handles, door edges, and fuel door.

I don't think so. I can charge with a wire in the car with no issues. Even if I don't use Carplay or other apps, it still heats up just as bad on the car wireless charger. It really appears to be an issue with the way it works in the car. And to be sure, I use the same case in all charging...
