I looked up three SUVs to see what effect it had, and the explorer sold 20k in April compared to 18k in March. So about the same percentage rise as the mustang. Escape and bronco sold less in April than March.
The discount probably just made customers upgrade in trim/packages.
Wrong. The EU has had tariffs on certain US products for a long time. Cars for example. EU has 10% tariffs on US vehicles. You think that hurts or helps Ford? It hurts Ford, an American company and American workers. So of course the US should hit back.
Ha, you're upset that people think you're anti tariff because of the fact that your post sounds like it was written by a Chinese journalist 😂
If you keep writing that way, then yes, everyone will think you're anti tariff.
Just the way it is. Good luck lol
Edit: this was a reply to a user and...
Your whole premise started out on a lie saying the US started a tariff war which is incorrect. Until that statement is corrected, anything after that is moot.
Don't... Nobody cares what you do. I'll be going for a spirited drive in my premium s650 with the performance package, nite pony package, active exhaust in about ten minutes having a wonderful Sunday. 😂
It's a guess based on how you drive. That's all it can be. You don't want it to tell you that you have 15 miles left when you actually have 7 left based on how you drive.
Mustang sales were 4100 this March in the US.
For comparison, Corvette sales were 2300 and are only 6800 for the entire year so far.
Auto sales were driven by cheaper crossovers for the first quarter.
Sports cars won't sell in large numbers until interest rates drop and the economy gets better.
