Uh, the reason why the Shelby GT350R “may” be more expensive than the Mach 1 HP is perception. The reason why a Balenciaga shirt is $300 versus a “regular” shirt. The Mach 1 HP is just as capable as a GT350R, but some people just get wet dreams because of the Shelby name. Same as the Shelby...
2020 GT350…it’s no contest. Unlocked ECU, no FNV platform, better-looking exterior/interior, and the 20’ Voodoo should be more reliable than pre-19’ Voodoos. No contest.
I just want GM to release another Camaro Z28 before they are gone. If not, I'll hunt down a C7 Z06 to add to the garage. So no, the DH is definitely not worth it for me (but I have high standards). I prefer N/A for a Camaro.
Well, the marketing department has to justify its existence and salary. 😄 I kinda get it. For the uneducated consumer, this strategy works on getting them interested.
It's hard to beat GM's offering when it comes to performance. The problem is everyday practicality of design. The visibility and interior ergonomics are inferior for the Camaro. That said, I'll still take an S550 PP over a 6G Camaro 1LE. But, I'll take a 6G Camaro 1LE (specially a 2SS) over ANY...
The very first thing I did when picking up my S550s was to check the panel alignment. It's a common issue in all generations to be fair. I think Ford knows a lot of Mustangs buyers end up modifying the exterior of the cars, so they just let them go thru. I thinks it's less likely in the higher...
It's camo'd/covered, so they're likely gonna alter it. Same with the rear diffuser. Once they do, AND IF they remove the Fully Networked Vehicle (FNV) architecture, and locked ECU, otherwise it's another hard pass.
I'm not looking to share a lifetime ownership of the Mustang with Ford (and...
The 2023 Honda Accord vs. 2024 Ford Mustang. I thought 2024 was the sequential number after 2023. Did this change in the year 2023? I was born in the 1900s.
Either way, the S650 looks like a Honda Accord. That's not a bad thing, if someone likes Accord. Reliable FWD grocery-getter. I just don't.
The issue is not really 500HP vs. 1000HP. The issue is Ford removing the choices of the consumers. With what purpose?
Once I buy my Mustang, I should be able to do whatever the **** I want with it. If I choose to void my warranty, that's on me. If I follow the T&Cs of the warranty...again...
You're missing the point. The point is "cracking the ECU". It will never happen. Ford gives access whom it wants to...Roush, Whipple...that's not "cracking the ECU". You get it now? I'm not good at drawing pics...so...
BTW GM is doing the same thing with the C8, gives access to whom they want...
Hi buddy. I just don't like being a sheep. Ahem, others are ok on being a sheep. And that's cool too. I just plan ahead, and move accordingly. Enjoy your S650!
The S650 is a Fully Networked Vehicle. Google to find out what that really means. Ford can remotely access your Mustang and disable it acordingly. The S550 has the TCU module on the left side of the trunk, that can monitor the Mustang and it's activities. However, you can remove the appropriate...
The typical American vehicle is a dying breed. The Camaro and Mopars in their classic American forms are gone. The Mustang was able to last longer due to the Fully Networked Vehicle platform (allows for remote monitoring and control). We'll see how long it lasts.
The S550 was the last true...
