Lemme cue this up for ya.
The difference between the M1 and my DH was very distinctly different.
It's now PUSH to reverse rather than pull like the DH. I don't MIND the pull to reverse but the push is a lot more intuitive for me.
Nawwww, I was sitting in a car club members Mach 1 and was testing the shifter and it was soooo much more "clicky" than my DH. It was like the gears clicked into place?
Also, the pull up reverse lockout is a bit of a pain in the ass.
Hey Folks,
Anyone put an MGW Shifter in your Dark Horse?
I'm looking at the MGW GT350 / Dark Horse / Mach 1
MGW Aftermarket Racing Shifters — GT350 Short Throw Shifter
If you have what kit did you put together?
Thinking of the following

Anodized Aluminum...
Yes it is and that chin splitter doesn't make it any easier. I have speed bumps in my "Traffic Calmed" neighborhood. If I brake too hard right before, and then drive over the bumps, I will scrape the front. If I drive over at neutral speed, or accelerate a little right before, I am fine.
This...
I have the HP but I am also lowered on Steeda Sport Progressives. Here is a pic the day I swapped out the wheels. It may have settled a bit more since.
Negative.
My order of operations went sorta like this....
- Picked up car and drove 500km
- Went to Steeda.ca and had them put Nitto 555 G2 on my Velgen VF10s (20" rims)
- Drove those for 1000km
- Got supercharged and within 500km
- Ordered SVE DHP1 with PS4S tires
- Driving on those for...

What he said.
Since my last update in like March of this year I have gotten a set of DHP1 rims with 305/30 and 315/30 PS4S tires. I got caught in a terrible downpour a couple of weeks ago when going to a body shop. I mean the highway was flooded out.
I didn't even sweat it; I slowed down...
The tabs (pin mount holes) closest to the front of the lip molding should be installed BEHIND the carpet. The rest are installed on top of the carpet.
Sent you the PDF instruction set that I put together based on Smurfslayer's images.
Ok, wet blanket coming in hot!
I went through this on my 21 GT Premium with a Roush Phase 2 (and a ton of other parts).
Sold it in August of last year with around 25,000km on it. Sold for like 55k Canadian.
I lost a big chunk of change on that car; supercharger, Steeda wheels, Steeda Springs...
Yeah; kinda agree with Beef. Rent the Jetski and get the Whipple.
If you can afford either then you aren't hurting for cash so laying out some discretionary funds for a weekend or two each year is no big deal. The whipple would be with you ever single day.
I love mine and it definitely fixed...
I have not run an HPDE event in the Dark Horse (yet?). I did two events in my 2021 GT which had a Roush Phase 2 and no brace. Although it was auto so may have been more forgiving than my DH would be.
Your driving style does have to change when you are boosted however I am not sure how much of...
I've bookmarked their site.
I drop the car off tomorrow and snag it Wednesday as I'm working out of town on Tuesday.
Assuming WW3 hasn't kicked off in the next 2 weeks I've got a trip down to NC/TN for the Tail and if they hold up for that then I should be good. That trip should be about...
I'm actually dropping my Dark Horse off at a body shop tomorrow morning to have them remove the stock ones, remove the worn out double sided tape and reinstall them; properly this time as in the front two clips behind the fender carpet liner.
Hopefully that will resolve the pin popping issue...
You guys are the best!!!! This has been entertaining as hell.
I haven't watched the video as I don't need justification as to why I purchased a Dark Horse over a GT (which my previous Mustang was). I wanted it, I can afford it, so I did it. End of list.
If you are down? Jump in!
if you aren't...
