Well…. Let me tell ya. With the factory resonator and factory mufflers it is so beautifully loud. I will take some video of it and upload. With the mods all together it makes this car so incredibly fun to drive!!!

Today she is getting the KOOKS headers with Green HO cats, BMR springs and the MGW shifter. Hopefully I will be picking her up in the next few hours 🤞🤞🤞

This car sounds so good! It's nice to see an example of long tubes that don't sound crazy raspy. Getting mine installed this week and will be leaving the cat back stock until I settle on a set up I like. I think this may be it :thumbsup:

Just got the message that my car is built and awaiting shipping. Estimated delivery of 10/5 to 10/10

Part of the recommendation for cleaning was to bake them at 300 for a bit. Since I don’t have an oven that can accommodate this, I opted for the map gas torch. Glad I did because I realized there was oil behind the Kooks name plate, once it got hot it started smoking pretty good.

This is the kind of scientific testing I can get behind. Very Garandthumb type stuff. I'm building an AR-10 and will be coating that too. Testing will be done in the name of science 🤓

It's supposed to help keep the under hood temperatures down and it works cosmetically to keep them looking good for a very long time. They won't change color from the heat or stain if oil gets spilled on them. You'll be fine by not doing it, most people don't.

Sorry, only answered part of your question. It does not require any high temp bake to cure. It's a 5 day air dry to cure.

It's supposed to be good for up to 1800F... we'll see.
