I am a bit surprised since the resonator looks the same as the S550. Replacing that led to gains so it must have been a restriction. You should still see gains removing a restriction on the S650. Can't wait for someone to cut one open and compare with the S550 so we will know for sure.
Meguiars Gold class car wash is the actual gold standard. Not that crap someone else mentioned. All joking aside Meguiars, Griots, and Turtle Wax make solid products for a lower price. Adams is the only higher priced product line that I have used extensively and I am not sold on the more...
I am going to go with 30% VLT ceramic tint (27% is legal in CO) all around. The law in CO states that tint is only legal on the top 4 inches of a windshield but also that the windshield needs to have 70% VLT so a lot of people get 70% tint on the windshield for heat rejection.
I am going to...
I don't see it. I need some of you to come look at mine when it is delivered lol. I have never bought a super nice used car, let alone anything new so I have never wanted to look too close.
I got a tint ticket back in 2012 in Golden, CO. The cop was really only interested in using his new meter. Literally the only thing he wrote me for and it was a fix it ticket. I believe I had 25% all around. I had to remove the tint on the front two windows then re-tint after getting tested...
Places cost more to live for a reason. For the most part, more desirable places cost more to live. If you happen to live in one that isn't expensive, do not tell anyone lol. Colorado mentality.
I mean, its not like you have to have the car to know what is needed day 1. Kind of like buying a phone case before you get your new phone.
Dash cam and tint are must haves. I also want PPF for some front end relief from all of the rocks/gravel on the roads in CO. Also going to need wheels for...
WHAT?! You are okay with that dirty O2 and trace other elements getting mixed in?
$180 doc fee and sub $50 temp tag/transport license fee are the cheapest that I have seen. Locally, the fees were $500 to $800.
It looks like the front tow point is under the passenger side grille fang. You can get a tow point plate mount. Probably more of a thing for the EB mustangs with front mount intercoolers.
I plan to daily drive it when there is good weather. Can be a bit tough to plan that in CO as snow and hail can come out of nowhere. There are enough good days through winter that I will have a set of winter tires on it just in case I get caught out. Probably 6 to 10k miles per year.
It does not look good. The GT looks better. Just because it is unique does not make it good.
That said, I do not really care so much about looks, it is the performance that entices me. Function > Form. I would drive around the emo kid eyeliner front end all day without giving it a second thought.
I really wanted magneride and plan to DD** the car so nicer interior, heated mirrors, vented seats, heated steering wheel were all high on my list living in Colorado. Hot summers and cold winters.
Now if only they had something to reduce hail damage.
**Damn autocorrect on the phone did me dirty**
