Having port and direct on the V8s may wash the back of the valves but no matter what fuel you use, carbon build us is an issue with DI. Cleaning valves is not a fun process.
I will have to take a look through 6g to see if this has been documented by now. Would be awesome to get some pictures...
I tried making the same point. While the touchscreen may take some getting used to it's pretty easy to operate. Like a phone not having a keyboard. I still use the swc on my Xterra without a touchscreen so I don't have to take my hands off the steering wheel or my eyes off the road.
Plenty of cars have buttons on the steering wheel without having touchscreens. Screens are cheaper to design around since they can use the same one or at least the same CPU and coding for all vehicles. Buttons required specific components to fit. It is a cost savings thing.
I have never had a...
I feel like those destroy the paint underneath them. Definitely not something I would consider. I have never had one on a car but its not like they are sealed to the paint so debris can get under them and natural movement of the panels and bra would sand away at the clear coat. Hopefully someone...
That is exactly what I do too. It allows you to easily change colors with a fraction of the time put into prep and nothing is permanent. There are so many options now which is really helpful since powder coating options are vast too. They look great.
After seeing how thrashed the PPF is on my friends C8 in 30k miles, I can only image how wrecked the paint would have been without it. CO roads have a lot of gravel on them.
If you daily drive the car and don't want to worry every time you drive it, I think it is very worth it. If you do not...

The link above is for an article for a F150 aftermarket intake from Cobb that has oe style carbon traps. Something like this may be the future for CARB Legal intakes for the mustang. Apparently, they still...
The damond Motorsports cans have a multi baffle/ chambered design and have a coalescing filter. Far better than most cans on market. Most cans are like you mentioned empty and don't do a thing.
I had a dual can setup on my mazdaspeed 3. I got about the same amount once I switched to a vented can on the PCV to intake manifold side and not much at all on the valve cover to intake can. I was pushing ~26 psi through a gtx3076r and had a decent amount of crankcase pressure. Without the...
I wouldn't buy an S550 because of the poor quality interior. It was just too bad to spend the money on over the last 3 years or so. It looked cheap and felt cheap. I do not think the S650 is the best interior but it is much nicer. The screens are amazing. I like them a lot more than I had...
Mine had over 50 miles and averaged under 15 mpg. I did not notice the mileage until my first stop. I drove 760 miles home and had somewhere around 820 miles on the car. I was too focused on the panel fitment. I have over 2k miles on it now.
There is another thread on here that posted a tire comparison with data for these tires and dedicated summer and winter tires. I cannot believe how well the pilot sport all season 4's did across the board including in snow.
I am in CO. I bet I will be joining you once I get my car registered and the PPF installed. I did not get anything on the windshield though. If you drive from October through May in CO, you will get chips and cracks in the windshield.
Mine were not installed... Also had over 50 miles on it. The instructions were printed opposite of paper orientation so the bottom was cut off and there is a lot of blank paper to the right.
Hello, my name is Thomas. I have been planning on buying a new Mustang GT since 2013 when I graduated from college but things just never worked out. My parents have both had mustangs over the years and my dad and I built an '80 4 eye, '91 LX, and a '94 GT over the past decade but I never managed...
