  1. More miles = more performance

Never, ever trust a butt dyno. They're flawed because they're cracked.
  2. 19's front - 20's rear ...?

Now I'm thinking maybe I should just leave well enough alone and lower it a little to change the stance.
  3. 19's front - 20's rear ...?

    Thanks. Gorgeous M2. :like:
  4. 19's front - 20's rear ...?

Very good point. I hadn't thought about that. I wonder what the folks who go from 19's to 20's on all four corners do.
  5. 19's front - 20's rear ...?

I've been thinking about doing the same thing to change the stance on my car. I currently have 325/35/19's on the rear. I'm guessing that 20" wheels would probably make a slight difference in performance since it's a larger rotating mass. There are a number of performance cars that have a larger...
  6. 20's on stock magnaride suspension

I want to go with 315/30/20's on the rear, but keep my 285/30/19's on the front. It doesn't seem like anyone has gone with that wheel size combo.
  7. Supercharged Dark Horse Mustang SC will be revealed on 1/15! [Updated with first look]

Good point. When I think of the Camaro, I think of the SS and the ZL1. The SS is more like the GT, while the Dartk Horse is more like the ZL1. The difference being that the ZL1 (650 hp) made quite a bit more horsepower than the SS (455 hp). The Dark Horse only makes 14 horsepower more than the...
  8. Supercharged Dark Horse Mustang SC will be revealed on 1/15! [Updated with first look]

What I've always found interesting is that the Dark Horse is only rated at 14 more horsepower (in theory) than the GT with AVE. Seems kind of strange to me that they're now going to supercharge it. Why didn't Ford do that in the first place? I can put another $13k into my $60k GT and have pretty...
  9. FORD: One of the worst

I'm not a Prius fan, but I agree with you. They're pretty nice looking.
  10. FORD: One of the worst

Enlisted right after high school in 1967. Served with the 26th Marines in Vietnam in '68. Was wounded in September and spent 6 months in the hospital. Semper Fi
  11. Official Mustang S650 Aftermarket Wheel & Tire Thread

What size tires are on the rear of the Dark Horse? I currently have 19's on the rear of my GT but want to go with 20" wheels. I have 325's on the rear now, but I think those would be too wide on 20" wheels. Would a 315/30/ZR20 tire fit?
  12. FORD: One of the worst

I've owned many, many different makes of cars in my 77+ years and I've had issues with all of them at one time or another.
  13. Kaleza’s dark matter gray GT build journal

Visor warnings don't bother me like they used to. When I had my Corvettes, I had the visors redone in leather. Took them to a local upholstery shop. If memory serves me correct, it cost around $100 to have them done. Just food for thought.
  14. DFB's Detailing Garage

As always, your posts never cease to amaze me. Thank you.
  15. Does anyone know what the widest wheel we can fit in the back of the S650 is?

Running the same setup as you with GR6 10-spokes. I want to switch to 20" wheels with the same tire width, but I'm a little concerned that they might rub.
  16. Stupid dealership decals.

Same here. My dealership knows that I don't want one of their decals on my cars. Been buying cars from them for years.
  17. Any pics of 20x10/20x11 without lowering?

Anybody running 285/30/20's on the front and 315/30/20's on the rear?
  18. Its here! New Dark Horse

    Love the color. 👍
  19. Startup after sitting LONG / Oil pressure

I'm sold old I remember trying to free the hand brake on my covered wagon. 😉
  20. Startup after sitting LONG / Oil pressure

Thank you. I've started a couple of cars in my 77 years. I was actually trying to be funny and make fun of my old age, but it apparently didn't work.
