I couldn't agree more. I had double-wall tips on my Z06's. They were very easy to clean and polish. It was one of the first things I noticed when I took delivery of my Mustang. I think I'm going to order the Ford/Borla system for my car in the spring. If my old eyes aren't deceiving me, it looks...
I fill up about the same as you. Only put about 400-500 miles a month on my daily driver. I started out at 10 cents a gallon savings, but I'm at 15 cents now. Not sure why, but I'll take it. 🙂
I save 15 cents a gallon with my Shell card. 🙂 Our son lives in Wisconsin and I had lunch with him this past Monday. I pay $4.59 per gallon for premium here in Illinois. I paid $3.55 a gallon in Wisconsin for premium on Monday. Saved $1.04 per gallon. :like:

You can say what you want about accepting a slightly damaged vehicle, but at the end of the day it's a brand new car that someone has worked hard for and waited months to get. Most of the performance/sports cars I've owned over the years have just been toys. I've been a gearhead for over 60...
I ran PowerStop on my last 2 Z06's and never had a problem with them for street use. Might be a different story if you track your car. They eliminated brake dust by about 90%.
Personally, there's something wrong with waiting so long for a car and then finding out it was damaged in transit. I'd refuse it and find something else.
Good question. I haven't seen anything on new pads. My car is in storage, so I have a few months to make a decision. I'll probably go with PowerStop. I've had good luck with them in the past.
