  1. The Kids Aren't Alright [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

I dont have to. I can just refer to my own experience, and that of all my colleagues. Every single one of my STEM friends, including myself, has found employment, and we are able to handle our debts without problems. Over half of my non STEM friends, if not more, are struggling. Wide range of...
  2. The Kids Aren't Alright [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Theres so many reasons people my age are not having kids, and they're honestly very valid. Both social and economic.
  3. GT Convertible Order Questions

If you're getting a conv, I wouldn't personally see a reason to get the PP. Don't let that stop you, but my $.02
  4. The Kids Aren't Alright [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Business degrees are very hit or miss lately. Its an oversaturated market currently, has a certain reputation. Some friends made use of it, other are struggling. It really really helps to have a niche, rather than getting lost among the riff-raff. One bud speaks Korean, and was able to get a...
  5. The Kids Aren't Alright [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Highly depends on which college you go to. There are some colleges that may as well guarantee a job. Pretty much every one of my friends including myself got a job either directly out of college, or within a few months.
  6. The Kids Aren't Alright [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

A big reason so many young people are in crippling debt and unemployed is because they get bullsh^t degrees that are useless in the real world. If its not a STEM degree, its not going to be terribly helpful. With that being said, the cost of living and being able to afford a house is very...
  7. Bill Ford on preserving the Mustang into future generations

People are entitled to their preferences, so I don't harp on the AT/MT debate, but I 100% agree.
  8. Startup after sitting LONG / Oil pressure

My bad, I didn’t realize debates are strictly a childish thing
  9. Thumping sound when turning first thin a cold monring

Yeah, must be the sound of them sliding into a curb at a standstill.

  11. Startup after sitting LONG / Oil pressure

"Normal wear and tear does not typically cause bearings to go bad before piston rings, cylinder bores, etc." is pretty far from an absolute
  12. Startup after sitting LONG / Oil pressure

No. Bearings almost never go before piston rings, cylinder walls, or often even head gaskets on many select motors - outside of external factors that prematurely wear them. Overrevving, oil starvation, etc. If you don’t believe this to be a fact, then you’re simply wrong. Ive torn engines down...
  13. Startup after sitting LONG / Oil pressure

Normal wear and tear does not typically cause bearings to go bad before piston rings, cylinder bores, etc. Obviously if the bearings are bad they could spin or cause low oil pressure. This goes without saying. If you read the entire post, you would not get hung up on this. You are an adult...

Yeah, threw the P-zeros around on the snow a little yesterday, very fun but also completely not suited for it. -18C here on the east coast. Absolutely getting winter tires next season for the Mustang.
  15. Stainless Clutch cable

What's the benefit of replacing the hydraulic system, in your opinion? I've always felt the old cable operated or mechanical linkage clutch pedals have been worse in many regards.

Rome Artifact on da mustang. Thats sick. Where do you ride?
  18. Startup after sitting LONG / Oil pressure

I've yet to experience it on my car. Granted, its a gen 1 coyote, but so far so good. Only thing I do is use 5w-30 instead of recommended 5W-20. I've heard it linked to a multitude of things. Timing chain, cavitation, cylinder bore to piston clearance. At this point, I just accept they we'll...
  19. Startup after sitting LONG / Oil pressure

For what its worth, worn bearings don't typically kill motors unless you've been doing stupid stuff. 9 times out of 10, a worn motor needs a rebuild or overhaul because of piston rings, loss of compression, etc. I cannot remember the last time I heard a car knocking or needing new bearings...
  20. Share some Winter Driving Pics and experience (it won't melt)

Driving a RWD in the snow is hardly a problem with good snow tires. With the older mustangs that have a solid rear, the biggest risk was uneven bumps or off cambered corners/roads that upset the rear suspension. Just one unanticipated bump hitting a single rear wheel could lead to the rear end...
