It’s only a Mustang because they say it is. They call charlatans magicians but there’s no such thing as that either. They are in fact illusionists. Marketing people are the illusionists in this case using the Mustang name for the sake of publicity.
Edit: From a business perspective this makes...
Well, you can place the batteries on the bottom and run the risk of being electrocuted in a flood or the battery exploding, or you can use that massive front for the battery front loading the weight similar to a V8.
The article sounds like it was written by a child. I predict the approach will fail like New Coke.
When all the folks who actually care about what a Mustang should be are gone, so will that business. Too much competition, not enough panache, too materialistic buyers and lack of Mustang...
It does appear by the polls and comments that the largest portion of current and former owners I have ever seen agree with you. Hopefully it will be a learning experience for Ford and they’ll put that dashboard back on the parts shelf and do a proper integration.
It looks like they literally took the entire dash from some EV suv, stuck it in a Mustang and reprogrammed the graphic screens and “voila” Mustang. Period.
Since my track record of making predictions based on events the last couple of years has been near 100%, I’m gonna guess that this whole thing will be gone a lot sooner than y’all think. Ford included.
Like my Mach better. In terms of front ends….GT350 and Mach 1 tied for first, 2015-17 GT second, S650 third and last but still really nice …..18-23 GT. IMO the GT500 is really nice but seems just a bit overdone.
