  1. In-Depth Dark Horse Review by Jim Owens (Ford Performance)

The sides give the car a very ā€œcleanā€ look BTW. I think that’s where people get the Camaro influence from. But it looks quite good in person. It will also probably help FRAP assemble them more consistently and make it easier to get the panel and door alignments right without as many visual...
  2. In-Depth Dark Horse Review by Jim Owens (Ford Performance)

That’s great. Thanks. I was there. The car looks great. Not completely sold on the rear but I did find that though I don’t like the screens, overall they were less obtrusive than they appear in pictures. Jim came flat out and stated they are trying to bring in a younger audience. It 100% shows...
  3. Report: 2026 Mustang Raptor Off-Roader Coming in 2026 with a V8, Followed by Supercharged Raptor R

I’m so glad my car was built before they considered taking the Mustang design off the rails. šŸ˜‚ And we thought the Mach E was bad. That’s insane, but when nothing means anything anymore this is what happens.
  4. Mustang Panel Alignment Problems

So someone is unhappy that you wrote a post about a valid concern that has precedence thinking you might inspire dialogue about it. That’s quite a worthwhile post.
  5. Mustang Panel Alignment Problems

They should ditch the unnecessary nonsense features and concentrate on building quality.
  6. The new upcoming Shmeemobile: Dark Horse

Joe Raiti is too loud and whines on and on too much. Doug DeMauro can’t sit still and it’s unnerving to watch. My friend says watching him makes him feel like he has to urinate because he makes him nervous. :crackup:He reminds me of a kid I knew in elementary school.
  7. 2024 Mustang rear-end an improvement?

Saw the car in person yesterday. You’re correct. Overall though the car looks nice. The back is very flat looking. Probably why they added the crease and the larger diffuser. The side does look Camaroesque but I don’t see an issue with it at all. I do believe we’ll see improvement in the panel...
  8. Mustang Panel Alignment Problems

Quality control seems to be something like this… ā€œHere’s the hole, here’s the screw. It can only go here because it doesn’t fit anywhere else so they’ll be guaranteed to all be the same…..or close. :fingerscrossed:roll ā€˜em. It’s the ā€œor closeā€ ones you have to concern yourself with. I think the...
  9. Mustang Panel Alignment Problems

They should strive to have at least as good QC on build quality as the average Toyota Corolla. I think that’s a very reasonable metric. Embarrassingly so, but sadly much better than the one (if there is one) in place.

  18. Anyone know of any Florida dealers doing X Plan or below invoice on a GT special order?

Maybe try Brandon Ford in Tampa. They’re quite large.
  19. Dark Horse Order placed!! Got my VIN today Scheduled for week of May 22

I can easily see dealers thinking that DH is a joke and not a car. Half didn’t know what a Mach 1 is.
