shit yes didn't see them . Well let's hope that we get the spoiler as it is advertised as such in the configurator, brochures and official video presentations of the car.
Maybe interesting to ask in these dealerships where they have the small lip if those models were ordered with the...
same here, or I will ask for them to add it (preferably not on my costs...). I hope, since most of us ordered different configurations (paint, with/without Recaros) that our models will not be the preallocated versions where some of the cars don't have the spoiler.
this is strange some of have the small lip and other the real spoiler (like the one in Luxembourg: https://www.mustang7g.com/forums/threads/dark-horse-in-luxembourg-europe.159914/)
plus in the configurator it is clearly marked as a "base" equipment here in French (swiss configurator): "Aileron...
not a lot of footage, but my preferred dealer has received their Dark Horse (Blue Ember US model sadly). I'll have to go visit to check it out (probably in 3 weeks as they are 1h15 away).
In the footage 3rd car after the green and the black GT500
some other angles from their facebook page...
I didn't put anything down , they said they would carry the cost until the car is here (same back then in another garage when I ordered the 2015 GT).
Funny that Ford dealers function differently from country to country.
The spoiler for the Dark Horse in Europe is the base Spoiler of the US DH (not the bigger one for the handling package), but it is different as the US GT Spoiler. Seems RTR, Steeda and other brands have done aftermarket spoilers as well.
Regarding Ford configurator, the other countries don't...
The H or X pipes replace the resonator (the so called "suitcase") in the whole cat-back system. The question is: change the axle-backs where the active valve system takes place (you can find different brand doing those with the active valve system) or do a resonator delete? The axle-back swap is...
I'll probably ask my garage if they can do some DIY thing as shown in the US thread. I checked on my 2015, there is no stupid hole like on the S650.
They did redesign the airflow of the undercarriage so could be that it has a purpose in that area.
On my 2015 GT I had custom axle backs from here in Switzerland and added an H pipe later on it. It was nice but I took it off 3 years ago it was getting to loud for me.
I guess it all depends how the active exhaust is going to sound like live and if an H pipe might bring some droning or not...
exactly or so it works on my parents' VW golf for example. But yes indeed the law says it has to be easily disabled without having to go through n menus. So the button for the cruise control must have different modes. 🙏
Great video Ace :), that intelligent speed limiter though :curse:... would be really stupid if the parameter would reset to default by every restart... I guess we will have to see how the off function works. It seems every car manufacturer has another way of going about this. But most say that...
I think I saw a video from a US model where you could set the margin (10, 20 above etc.) from which it starts doing that, it's in the menu in the driving assist categories I think.
at 34:50 he also turns it completely off
ah yes saw that in a video, you have gravel and water which gets thrown in there by the tires. The guy created a DIY cover to plug the hole.
Let's see what Ace tells us
@Ace : do you think you could take clips of the different exhaust modes but this time outside so we could compare to the 2018 model you had in your previous video. not super important but a nice to have if you have time. thanks :)
yes at least we can turn it off. Still it would be interesting to see if it works well. sometimes in jams, railroad crossings or long red lights could be practical
if you could test the auto start/stop function that would be cool, just curious to see how it works and how reactive it is.
In your video we saw that the side mirrors retracted when the car closed or opened, is that a feature we can control? (in your interior part of the video we see that the...
They increased the taxes in France last January, the GT and Dark Horse are taxed an extra €60k on top of the base price... basically you buy two cars, it's nuts. You can see the taxes for CO2 in the 1st table here (https://www.legifrance.gouv.fr/jorf/article_jo/JORFARTI000048727450) but...
