I had the same. Lower the back seats and see if there are 2 rubber adhesive strips (between plastic and metal leading into the trunk) that have come unglued/shifted. In my case, I just re-glued them for both seats with gorilla glue and the Styrofoam-like high-pitched squeaking went away.
There are 2 adhesive pieces of insulation/foam to the left and right of where the seat clip is. They are between the plastic and the metal leading into the trunk, to dampen vibrations or whatnot.... Those pieces of foam got unglued, and shifted downward, and were now squeaking. All I did was...
Yeah, I had a few stripped wires that were fixed yesterday. I can't figure out if it's from rodents, because I've used the mouse repellent tin for several years now. I glue it under the hood on top of the battery cover. If it's not rodents, then it could have been from chafing.
Again I was convinced my tank was cracked. Then the service supervisor said it’s supposed to look this way. I thought he was lying, as it made no sense. And sure enough a brand new car looked exactly like mine. Sane random round “crack” lines. Which are not cracks. I’ve never been so confused. 🤔
No it’s not a crack. I stand corrected. I was at a Ford dealership today, and I asked to show a brand new mustang GT. SAME exact seams. It looks broken, but it’s not.
So I corrected the title of the thread! It's normal. These are manufactured this way, and it SURE looks like it's cracked, but it's perfectly fine! All new cars have the tank that looks exactly the same.
Hey, folks.
On my old Mustang, there were these tubes around the engine harness wires. Now it's just wires and tape. Do you think it's a good idea to have all the wires protected, like this video shows? Any downsides, and any experience doing this? thanks
Wow. And apparently and evidently this is from the factory the way it’s made. I just came to Ford and was shown the exact same tank cover in a brand new car. !!!! This is normal. Not a crack. Well dang!!!
Just casually decided to see what's under the hood. And the coolant tank has multiple cracks. Any way to prevent this? Or it's just defective from the factory?
Also one of the wire harnesses to the spark plugs had stripped wires, maybe it happened from the vibration, or rodents? I put the...
it could be car alarm that was not properly installed, or something like that. It's not normal. On a stock car, the battery should be good for at least a month. Maybe you have something plugged into the cig lighter/USB that drains the battery? A dash cam could do it, although on the Mustang...
The rule of thumb is once the car warms up, the idling RPMs go down. So if it hasn't gone down yet, and it's like freezing outside, let your car warm up first. It could take a minute or two.
When I was buying my first Mustang in 2007, I didn't even think about manual transmission. Then my dad said "if you're buying a sports car, it's gotta be manual". So I took a driving lesson and suffered for several months, practicing not stalling out. Afterwards, I have no issue driving...
The manual transmission is very good. I've only had experience driving a 2007 GT with manual. You have rev-matching, so it will really help those who are new to manual transmission. I personally disable it after every update, because I want to drive a manual without any gimmicks. Also...

I had a pretty deep scratch on my windshield that I leveled off with this product. Took several tries. It really works. I personally recommend this product. It should remove the discoloration in my experience.
In the...
