I dont have EU, but EUM which is just the matt version I believe. I'll give that a go because I got my daughter a first car a couple of weeks ago and the dealer slopped some of that slimy stuff on there that definitely needs to go.
Ceramic coated our Lexus about two months ago. Polished with Carpro Essence first, followed by Gyeon MOHS ceramic coating.
Gave it a wash over the weekend. Beading like crazy. Just awesome.
At least now the gov recall website and Fords website agrees. Looks like Ford now officially lists my car as needing this recall when I put my VIN in at the below location:
https://www.ford.com.au/support/recalls-details/
It also shows in the Ford app as needing the recall. Those thinking...
I'm definitely grabbing one at some stage, but mostly because I'm sick of my current cannons falling over. The MTM is great, but the stability of the Griot's looks like a huge quality-of-life upgrade.
I’m not 100% sold on the metering tips yet, though. It seems to me like the dilution would be...
Took the missus' car to Wraptory for PPF on the black A,B and C pillars, door cups, boot loading area, door sills, and interior piano black trim. He also tinted the windows.
The car had that treatment of CarPro Hydro2 on it from my previous protection detail. Granted its still fresh and only a...
Yeah very odd. I did give the bottle a good shake. It barely even caused sheeting. Left the paint very flat. I can't remember if it made it feel slick, but I remember thinking that the soap itself had decent lubrication at least. I'll give it another go at some point. I did use some Geyon iron...
So I did a full decon strip wash and iron removal process on the missus' daily driver. The car is parked in the sun quite a bit at her work, so I wanted to get some protection onto it and work out a maintenance routine that keeps it protected without doing a proper ceramic coating. This was the...
Not sure if you saw this one @DFB5.0 ?
Looks like Mirch have some new formulations and products that Sandro sounds fairly impressed with. I think you mentioned in the past you didnt have much luck with Mirch products right?
I've seen a fair few of Waxit's ads about Mirch K5 Kraken the last...
Surprising hey. Its mostly flat freeway between Perth and Dunsborough with speed limits between 100-110 km/h.
Came back to Perth on Sunday. Trip for the weekend with some local driving around Dunsborough and caves road which is the closest we get to twisty roads, it averaged 9.7L/100km for the...
Thanks! I'm still very much in love with this car. The journey was long, but very much worth the wait.
Those holes were a problem on all S650 Mustangs globally. Ecoboost, GT and DH. Ford did end up changing the fender liner on cars half way through 2025 I think, so newer ones should be ok...
Did a trip from Perth to Dunsborough today (about 300km). Not that I care about fuel consumption in this car but I was rather surprised at how well it did.
I've got a bottle of each and I agree with you. Lovely polishes to work with and super easy to wipe off.
I made the mistake of getting two big bottles. Haven't made a dent in them yet.
What are the signs to look for when it starts to go off and get too old?
Saw this posted on Facebook.. Looks like people waiting on new cars will get theirs fixed in December. Most probably that means we will get our recall notices Dec/Jan as well.
