Agreed, i used ford points so out of pocket i wanna say I paid 450, and installed it myself in around 15 minutes. Honestly people might aswell install them themselves because if you have a strut bar, you will be removing the driver side catch can every time you want to check your dipstick...
My 25 dark horse does the 2k rattle and it has a different gear box than yours , so I am pretty sure it a metallic resonance coming from a heat shield or something.
Totally not amazing in person, it looks like an after thought lol. I have mine sitting in my shed collecting dust. Try adding a gurney flap from nytop to your pp wing looks much better.
I found a good shop, that would work with my dealer. They found 400 paint issues on the car. Ford was only willing to pay $4300 for the issues. Obviously I couldnt get everything fixed as thats would have cost around 8k, but I can live with it at this point.
Got my DH back from the paint shop today. Painted oem wheels gloss black, painted mirrors body colored, painted my gurney flap for my body colored gt pp wing gloss black. Super happy with the way it came out. I think if I add one of the gloss black trunk panels it will complete the look I am...
Those were nice, practically bullet proof engines. The one I was talking about was a joint venture between ford and mazda that was introduced in 2007 -2013 in the mazda speed 3 and 2006-2007 in the mazda speed 6.
The boosted 2.3 in the mazda speed gen 1 and gen2 was known to have reliability issues with the timing chain and vvt actuator as well as premature turbo failures and leaks. They also had trash fuel pumps stock to where owner had to change the fuel pump internals just to be able to run an intake...
Lo
Lol you think a 4 cylinder pushing 18-20 pounds of boost is more reliable than the most bullet proof v8 on the market?. You do realize ford tested the coyote at 800 hp and certified that it met its 100k miles tests. You can literally rag on the coyote every day and it will be fine as long...
The ecoboost in the mustang is a modernized open deck version of the 2.3 engine ford and mazda developed that they put in the mazda speed 3. Back then it what gave mazda the zoom zoom boom stereo type.
The only thing that is going to calm the popping down is leaving the resonator alone and getting some custom tuning. They come on the rich side from factory. I cant exactly say they pop a lot more after deleting the resonator, what I can say is the pops are louder, they can be like gun shot loud.
It sounds very similar, a bit deeper growl. Lots of pops driving around. I would get a video for you but my car is at the shop getting the wheels painted.
Sounds great, the normal start up shouldn't bother the neighbors much, these really arent all that loud until you mess wit the headers. But maybe my ears are messed up lol my previous car was a 21 sti with headers and a turbo back exhaust.
I agree it does look cleaner, its also why I took off my black and grey base dark horse wing and got a body colored gt pp wing. Looks super clean and mature. Its in the shop right now getting my mirrors painted body color, and my wheels painted gloss black. The only grey is going to be on the...
