So I am getting a little frustrated because tomorrow my car will have been sitting at the local rail yard for 7 days. Curious if that is a dealer issue or a Ford issue or maybe that is normal? I can't get a good answer.
With the new car and the new mirror USB port, it is a good time to upgrade my old dash camera. Any recommendations out there? Would like good quality picture, wifi, and GPS.
Thinking about this one ---
Amazon.com: ROVE R2-4K PRO Dash Cam, Built-in GPS, 5G WiFi Dash Camera for Cars, 2160P...
The manual seems to indicate that the car supports PaaK - Phone as a Key. I haven't seen any reference anywhere yet but the manual. I know the Mach-E has it and I believe the Lightning got it as an OTA. Will be interested to see if we have it...that FOB is huge.
Will be interesting to see the final result. The manual mentions auto stop on Manual Transmissions. Since no manual transmission is available on the EB, it sounds like it was expected to be there by the manual writers.
From the manual I get the impression you can use your phone as a key. I watched a few videos about it from the Mach-E and it looked pretty good. Hopefully they have done the same in the 650.
I believe what they are saying is it can’t be permanently disabled. You have to do it ever time. That caught my eye as well. I am not a fan of that feature. There quite a few items that cause it not to activate, so I am hopeful I find the right combo.
I find it pretty amazing how big this manual is and still giving just an overview of all the features. So many more details to figure out. Of course half of it is warnings like “we can’t help you overcome the laws of physics” lol.
If you noticed there is no owners manual available. I speculate someone forgot to write it and we are waiting for it to be done. They should have it completed tomorrow.
I am pretty sure they can add the X plan at time of delivery and payment. They dont take your claim number until delivery and my dealer said it really didnt matter if it is on the order. I think you just have to find a good trustworthy dealer.
