Forgive my ignorance, and please don't take this as an argument, I'm just being inquisitive.
I'm aware that you can crank out more than 1,000 HP out of a coyote with a blower, but not reliably, especially without forged rods and crank, probably studs also.
You mentioned 800 HP for a GEN 3...
Thank you for the reply. I understand your points, and I'm loathe to sound argumentative, but I still feel like even for those who DO want to track the car the HP is not a worthwhile option.
You mentioned a fat bottom lip, I don't see it in the description. I know the 2023 GT with PP had one...
I'm starting to doubt myself, I see a good number of people who have ordered the handling package on their DH, and wondering if I screwed the pooch. I would appreciate some feedback.
To the best of my knowledge, for an additional $5K the DH HP:
-replaces the 255+275 wide 40 profile wheels &...
Sorry, I can't prove it was Slick 50 that ruined the 626, not anymore than I can prove NOT using Slick 50 helped my current ride (2010 Acura TL, 310K miles). I do remember when that Mazda was new you could hardly tell if the V6 engine was running without looking at the tach, it was so smooth...
If you want to use Slick 50, I won't stop you. Just know that Slick 50 in particular has been proven to cause a lot of engine failures. This is because the Teflon in it did not actually improve lubrication, but actually the opposite. The Teflon particles, at least those that do not clog up...
Not to mention the shortage of submarines with which to pull those underwater trains all the way across the Pacific to the land down undah. Can you hear the thundah? You better run, you better take covah. b-)
Please don't get me wrong, when I say "violent agreement" I mean we both concur 100%.
I don't know if the Dracura has port injection, but it is definitely normally aspirated. I've had nothing but bad experiences with past 5-cyl turbos in my life (an Audi and a Volvo), and if I had a...
You and I are probably in violent agreement, but I thought to point out that I have an 2010 Acura that I drive daily - and probably will for a while longer - with 310,000 miles on it. Never put anything in it except oil, and changed it religiously according to the maintenance minder. The Acura...
I got a notice too including VIN, " scheduled to be built the week of September 4, 2023"
DH Blue Ember 10A, no other options.
Window sticker not yet released
I know this means crap anyway since they can shift the date to the right as they please, but I'm ok with it since I did not expect...
I'm with you.
How would the typical person feel if an underling kept interrupting with "you can't do that, boss" "not a smart move, boss" "not that way, boss" "she's too wrong for you, boss." It would not be long before the guy said "Hey, I'm the fucking boss, aren't I? Shut the fuck up or...
Ah, but did they ever say they would have your car ready by [fill in the date]? I know from personal experience they bent over backwards and twisted themselves into pretzels conveying the diametric opposite. If anything was made clear to me it was "we're putting the order in, but there's no...
I may be some kind of simple, but I read somewhere that the car would be a 2024 model year. I double checked just now and it's still 2023...but maybe I'm a year off due to time zone or over-sleeping. No wait, lack of sleep maybe?
No, I had no expectations that I would be driving the Rucio...
If you like Harman Kardon, then you're in luck, that's who owns B&O.
Yes, I concur an aftermarket rig can be better than any factory setup, at least in terms of sound. Aesthetics is another issue. The best I ever heard was a 5.1 DYI getup I put together on a Volvo. Listen to Diana Krall Live...
