Thanks, if you have any questions just let me know.
FYI, I ordered two extra filters with my order so I could change them without having to wait for the filters to dry after cleaning them.
Intake installed,
Took about 2 hours to remove and install.
The only advise I would give is to follow the instructions provided. The only thing I did different was put the rubber mount that goes on the mount post on "after the box is in place," you need every mm to install it and removing that...
According to FedEx the intake will arrive today, and I'll install it after work.
I'll take a couple of pictures, a test drive and I'll get back to you later this evening.
When I bought the Resonator H-Pipe it was part of a performance package I wanted to put together, sound was secondary but still important. My nephew's mustang with the resonator delete H-Pipe is too loud for me, what I wanted was the performance gain without that much sound.
This worked out...
Ordered one yesterday, I don't know how long before it arrives.
Maybe not a lot of power but add an exhaust and custom tune and the combo should be solid.
I have the double H-Pipe with resonators and a tune ordered, once I install the intake, I'll install the custom tune.
I bought it for...
I like the
Look like a pretty solid piece, any other color options for the filters?
Plain white would be nice. Not a deal breaker but I wanted to ask the question.
I tried asking a question on your website about the filters but can't submit it because I don't know what format you are requesting for my phone number.
I tried a number of ways with no success.
To repair it correctly the body panel above needs to be removed as well so they can be attached correctly then reinstalled together as one piece.
There are quite a few plastic fasteners that hold the two pieces together.
I had my side splitter painted gloss black and installed it myself...
Max out the negative front camber plates, that will make the car handle even better. You'll get around 2.2-2.5 degrees from the factory camber plates the Dark Horse's with the Handling Package come with.
I've tried to find the answer to that question before I bought mine but could not find the science behind it. I bought the set because at that time Ford only sold them that way. You may be able to find the Passenger Side only now if you don't want both.
I have them installed, drivers' side almost nothing of oil residue, passenger side there is a lot of oil between oil changes. The Ford Performance cost more but I like the look better than other aftermarket options. That being said they all work the same.
Just in installed my Resonator H-Pipe this morning and went for a couple of drives to get a real-world opinion.
If you have active exhaust don't think twice about installing one, putting it into quiet mode is almost the same as when it was stock.
Sport mode now is about what track mode use to...
I have run both square and staggered and for me the square setup gives me more traction in the turns.
I have 315/30/19 Pilot Sports on all four corners
I purchased two 19X11 OEM rear wheels and placed them in front with 25mm spacers, extended wheel studs and 2.25 Negative Camber in front with no issues. I run a 315/30/19 Square Setup.
