I read the other threads in entirety yesterday, this is like a Robert Stack Unsolved Mystery haha until I pull my as built codes
UPDATE: it does have ESE ON, GT w/ 9 speaker non B&O 301a.
The active exhaust has a physical component too (actual butterfly valves) I also run in quiet mode or normal alot for similar reasons to OP. But my "Star" button goes to Track Exhaust. Mine is a 301a and cant tell if is any synthetic speaker sounds myself
I usually remember on startup to do it. Gets me 25% of the time. With a manual it is mildly embarrassing when it dies. Also Thanks for the “ASS” acronym, now it has a name haha!
wish i could code this to be off by default. Is a ridiculous and irritating feature that damages the vehicle. Plus legislation just got repealed so in ‘27 i think they wont have them at all
I've chased down a few minor noises with this insulated foil foam off amazon. Is not true sound deadening material like dynamat, or the other type "Sound absorbing" like for a studio. But does a nice job at sound and even thermal...
Just did a complete deck lid removal etc to replace the rear speakers. No strange fasteners luckily. Is very similar to S550 videos on YouTube. Taking rear seats out is a must
And blue alignment tabs in rear need to be pinched with needle nose
Yeah guys we gotta realize we drive 12:1 compression ratio air machines. And with the s650 twin 80mm stock intakes its an airmover.
would be bad if no sounds
