I checked with my dealer on Tuesday but nothing had changed on Vista.

I have a vista screen shot saying a segmentation date of : Today! (18 July) and an eta of 22nd Oct. I am dubious that this will remain, as I have ordered the black pack option! 😔

No emails from Ford. A couple of texts from my dealer, the last saying delivery due in April!! :crackup:

I will need to phone my guy to ask if they have a VIN for mine yet, as the last sms I got from him (in early Feb)stated delivery was due in April!! Lol.

I find it hard to believe that in this day & age that manufacturers can't give an accurate delivery time, considering the inventory control technology that is available to them nowadays. Maybe they have Amish doing this work for them, using a card file index to control their stock! lol👨‍🌾

Surely if you haven't yet received a VIN number then you should be able to change that out.

Interesting that people are having issues with the supplied battery. I wonder how the new Stop/Start feature on the job 2 cars impact the battery life?

If people are worried about sealing the area totally, then may I suggest shaping some fine stainless mesh as a cover to prevent all but the smallest particles from getting in, whilst still allowing for air flow and thus helping to remove moisture build up.

I just went on the "build your mustang page" & the price calculator is unchanged for my specifications & postcode!

I have been told that Ford has directed dealers to charge the price that comes up on the Ford Mustang build page. So around $96k & change (drive away) :crazy: depending on your post code. Let me know if this is the case with yours!

Hey guys, As we here in oz have to wait for Q2 2024 for delivery of the S650, I see that this aligns nicely with the 60th aniversary of the first Mustang (1964 1/2 ). With this said, I suggest that Ford Australia should commemorate this by adding on to our ordered vehicles some special edition...

It's a Ford! And like all mass produced vehicles the bugs are always going to be there in one form or another. If you want trouble free motoring hail a taxi! 😛 Seriously though I see some of the same issues showing up on this model that people complain about on the S550 so waiting for a later...

Let's hope for everyones sake that you are correct Steve in your assumptions! I for one will find it difficult to justify paying more than a $2 -$3k increase over the previous year model.

Hey Steve, Yeah Tom is looking after me over there. Also contract subject to pricing. I basically told him that I wanted Magneride and said it came with red Brembos. (as mentioned by Frostee earlier in this thread).
