Are they able to confirm the convertibles are supposed to have those? It definitely seems like it could be a possible issue. Maybe one of the techs on here can confirm they should be there.

Interesting that it’s missing. I wonder if there is any chance the issue could be related to them being missing like it’s over compensating from just the front. My cars in the shop for body work right now going to call them this week and have them look at the noise. I’m not at all confident...

Good thing is it’s free to try again. If you need something smaller you could always use a pencil eraser just cut it to the right shape/size Or just pay the pros.

You could lightly sand the metal and put some primer down. Then apply the touch up paint. Maybe put some kind of small rubber wedge in there to keep it from going back into the wet paint?

I won’t drive it in the snow. I would drive it in the cold/winter if I didn’t have summer tires on it though.

I’ve seen people mention spraying a little silicone or something into the seals to prevent windows from freezing and sticking. Not sure if that causes a mess on the window edges though.
