As I said before, tires play a role, but they are not solely reponsible.

"The GT350 has always had fantastic steering, but it's been plagued by the tendency to tramline, faithfully following ruts in...
1) I thought Ford Authority weren’t all that reliable?
2) If true, just because the GT500 is being announced next doesn’t mean there still won’t be other, “in between” models later on. The GT500 was announced very early in the S197 era, and although it got tweaked periodically, we saw the...
We certainly won't see another FPC V8, and I doubt Ford's going to develop any new engines from scratch. With the Dark Horse effectively slotting in as a Mach 1/GT350 hybrid, an actual GT350 would doubtlessly require another of Ford's pre-existing V8s.
Since we're on the subject, I don't see...
"The V-8 still comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission, which Ford paired with a new dual-mass flywheel that is more robust."

Total stud for me, only exception being the way the digital dash was (not) integrated into the whole of the car. Other than that, I'm in for a Dark Horse, unless Ford has plans for a larger displacement V8 with that Tremec 6 speed.
This is my take on it as well. I'm generally not a fan of the "tacked on iPad" look utilized in modern Mercs, and the S650..... and it's the one misstep I've seen for what is otherwise a knockout design, inside and out. However, I've also seen some videos that get behind the wheel, and it...
I don't doubt tires play a major role, but can someone remind me what tires come on a GT350: (non R)? That tramlined quite significantly when I took one out on my favourite local back road. I haven't driven the Mach 1 but read numerous reports it did the same thing (though that was with the...
This was an issue that plagued all S550s apart from the GT500. I remember experiencing it myself when driving a GT350 and a post-refresh GT with PP. I sincerely hope Ford has addressed this, especially for the performance variants with wider front rubber. I didn't see anything mentioned in the...
Ford could be heading for very murky legal waters here. If they “approve” certain canned tunes, is that a tacit admission Ford *guarantees*, and therefore warranties them?
Yeah, going to have agree with everyone about the blacked out front portion (i.e. not good). If I go Dark Horse, it'll need to be a dark exterior colour, or having those black portions painted will be the first thing I do to it.
