I personally like the OEM rubber mats. The word "Mustang" is on the mats in a gray color. I personally do not think rubber weathertech or similar brand would look good.
I have Borla S-Type non-active installed on my 2024 Mustang GT. I have not heard the ATAK in person, but in Borla's video the ATAK seemed more raspy compared to the S-Type. For me, the S-Type is the right amount of volume and from start up/ in car the exhaust sounds deeper more so than raspy. I...
I don’t have long tube headers, but I recently installed Steeda G trac brace. The only issue I have installing was the underbody “fabric” material was in the way as well as the underbody strakes. It’s not a complete bolt on like I suspect the S550 was. I had to cut the undertray to get the bolts...
I was fortunate enough to drive the Cherohala Skyway and Tail of the Dragon this week! I attached the highlighted route I took this past Monday. I’d highly suggest the yellow route. The orange route is an andditional route, but I wouldn’t suggest spending time on the orange route. Cherohala...
From the pictures, yours seem pretty good! I know in person is always different than pictures. Yours seem to sit up closer to the valance than mine.
I need to mess with mine more, but my initial thought is the hanger on the left muffler is not bent at the same angle.
I have the Borla S-type catback installed. These pictures aren’t the best, but the alignment is okay. The left is not quite centered left/right and closer to the reverse light side. The right is centered fairly well left/right. However, both sides don’t sit up tight to the valance and sags more...
Love the build! Your car has a similar spec to mine. I have not done any suspension mods yet, but plan to in the near future. Do you find the Steeda front and rear sway bars are worth the upgrade over the stock PP sway bars?
Just had my mustang in this morning for the recall and an oil change. They had it for roughly an hour and I was back on the road. Mine was not affected.
I pulled my wheels and ceramic coated the calipers when the wheel was off. For normal washes, I use detail brushes to clean as much of the calipers as possible. At a minimum, I plan to remove the wheels prior to storing for the winter to give the calipers a deep clean.
This kit comes with the dark horse rear valance. I assume the rear valance was installed and the catback exhaust? From my understanding the catback exhaust comes with 5" quad tips which would probably not fit the active exhaust dual tip valance.
I have a 400A car. I have not seen/been in a 401A mustang, but the features were not worth the money to me. I was not trying to option out the highest mustang GT and the $2,900 went to other options. To me the 400A is a nice interior and I do not regret it one bit. I am more interested in...
Has your exhaust been installed? I am on the fence between this option or with Borla exhaust. How loud is the extreme version? Please post pictures of the dark horse rear valance and 5" tips.
I went with UPR. I don’t believe there are benefits over any particular brands. I personally think UPR looks the best and of high quality compared to other options on the market. It definitely is not the easiest to service with the strut tower bar right over the catch can. Small price to pay though.
